Interior Scene [WIP] by Taw

Interior Scene [WIP]

Taw

Just an interior scene I started working on a few months back. Stopped working on it and lost motivation to finish it. Lots of things need tweaking, needs some normal maps, more furniture modeled, lighting tweaked and such, etc.

Overall it was fun and I learned a lot, but I don't think I'll finish this one.

Edit: Coming back to this, I built this really bad. Definitely improved since this. :v

Hmmm not bad for a WIP. Have you put into consideration trying Kerkythea? Its what i use for my renders. In my honest opinion. Its system is very easy to understand. Mostly why i use it. It also gives some spectacular results on lighting. Especially with Volumetric lighting.

I'll look into Kerkythea, never really used anything to render my stuff other than Mental Ray in Maya for models (except UDK/Zbrush things, though I tried using Marmoset before.

Yeah i highly recommend Kerkythea. it has a plethora of rendering options to choose from. my personal fave is the MLT-BiPT system. It handles caustics and stuff really nicely. Its one drawback is that its Unbiased so long render times. There is also a Path Tracing option that is progressive. Photon Mapping,Clay renders. etc etc

What i like most about it is its ease on material creation.
