Finished full illustration commission for Almonihah! His playful giant gryphon, Zakhin’Dahk, has an affinity for maps. The poor local cartographer puts up with his insatiable curiosity for her work, looks like her cat is used to the bird by now. Thankfully he’s well known and as gentle as he can be in town, so while he’s quite a sight he isn’t a danger! Well, at least to anyone other than those flowers he keeps knocking over.

Ahhhh!! So great. x3 All of the little details really bring this together <3 And my goodness, this took such a long time! I really like the highlighted/reflective color on the feathers underneath the bird, too :3 It really helps the character pop!
