Androsphinx by tser

Androsphinx

Korin is miffed because someone asked him a riddle. Korin is embarrassingly bad at riddles (though he adores logic puzzles).

Male Wylkan sphinx (androsphinx) lack wings, unlike their feminine counterpart, but sport a mane of varying lengths. All sphinx have fur in shades of grey and brown, ranging from an almost golden tan to rare black, the better to blend in to their rocky, dry, mountainous habitat; however, the wings of the female sphinx are often more colorful. They're exceptionally strong and graceful, and though not aggressive, are generally solitary, defensive of their territories, and sometimes quite grouchy.

Watercolor and pencil.
