ORIGINALLY POSTED IN 2012, UPDATED 2014

My claws are displaying the colors of the asexual flag. Black represents asexual persons, grey represents demisexual and grey-a persons, white represents sexual persons and purple represents the community.

While I've never been one to take pride in something I had no hand in (such as my sexuality, race, or place of birth), I was talking with a pansexual friend of mine, and she mentioned how asexual peoples really don't get a lot of mention in LGTQ stuff. I mean, we're not even in the acronym! While this can be understandable, as we do not experience the normal sexual attraction nor prosecution, we are still a valid sexuality. For those of you who don't know, I am demisexual. This is debatable to be the most misunderstood and disbelieved sexuality, up there with pansexuality. But really, who are you to judge as a minority?

So this isn't really a "pride" thing, it's more of a awareness thing.
