This pic comemorates the 10th anniversary of Henry Takamoto, officially created January 17, 2006.

This is how 8-year-old Henry, Ryoko, and Eric first looked in March 2007, when I followed the footsteps of Marc Brown, the creator of Arthur. Before then, since January 17, 2006, Henry was originally going to be an adult, the characters were all going to be hamsters, and the hamsters were originally going to be Hamtaro-style before going anthropomorphic in December 2006.

Ryoko Nakamura, created in March 2007, was originally named Ryoko Watanabe. Because of there being a well-known Japanese singer by Ryoko Watanabe, her last name was changed to Nakamura in 2008. She was originally a fox squirrel from a moon called Rodentia where the people there are evolved squirrels. Because of the concept being too strenuous, by June '07, Ryoko was changed into a chinchilla and the series took place on Earth instead of a planet called Hamstern. Because of her originally being a fox squirrel, that explains the brown color!

Eric Yamada, also created in March 2007, was originally named Rick Yamada. Because of there already a fictional character named Rick Yamada, his first name was changed to Eric in 2009. He was originally a cottontail rabbit and was a refugee from an outlaw planet called Lagomorpha. Again in July 2007, because of complications with the plot, Eric was changed into an albino rabbit. Eric's world in the original concept was run by a tyrant who wanted to take over the star system. The concept was scrapped in July and changed in October to the outlaw planet being Arachnia, inhabited by spider people.

The styles have changed throughout the years until around April 2009 when the design changes were final.
