I got carried away. This is the first character commission (Medieval Fantasy Style, i.e. D&D style), for Aegis Hyena. The character was already a Medieval Fantasy one, a Hyena Sorcerer to be exact. Anyhow here he is enchanting his favorite weapon a two handed battle axe, caught all up in the arcane power he and the axe begin to float off the ground. Feel the POWER!

I nearly hurt my self on this one. I drew a sketch of this commission last Thursday, it was at best “Meh…” Went to bed and had a dream more or less of this. So, I went to the Coffee Shop that day and drew/re-drew the character. Much better and exactly how I envisioned it in my dream. I wasn’t able to work on it over the weeknd because of the party, and then had a Hangover for 2 days (Sunday and Monday) so I didn’t work on it then. Then once I started coloring it I REALLY got into it, taking more time and doing more then I should have. Thus, 40+ hours of work later we have the pic above. I might say that Aegis Hyena has been very gracious in his compliments. *Grin*
