another thing I've had sketched up for about a week now.
Just a simple idea. Not sure if I want to keep him as a snake or fuck-up-the-ass if I know what to make him

Yeah, I know what ya mean, but he is a master smith, so he is supposed to be a little more on the bulky side.
As with the bad quality, I was using my mates Windows phone, and when I was trying to press the button to take the photo (since my scanner isn't compatible with my laptop) my hand started to shake badly.It would be easier to see if I had inked it, but since its just a concept, I didn't want to spend that time since the idea might change later.
Even at that, the species might change. Still not sure yet on what I want for this character.-
Hmmm. If you want to keep the muscle, then maybe try to find a way for him too look "smoother", if you get what I'm saying. Focus more on a smoother shape rather than jutting muscles.
I wish I wasn't at work right now, I'm intruiged and want to start doodling somerelated material.

Yeah, I get what you mean. As in a more sleek look.
I'm still learning when it comes to male anatomy and proportions, as I usually draw females.

Its a little difficult to see because of the bad scan quality (or photo?), but at first glance I thought it was an Aligator. The eyes and the tounge are the only things giving the nod towards being a snake.
Since snakes are rather long and thin, maybe make him slightly taller and more svelt - less "pure muscle" and severe line angles and more tastefully toned and flexiable.
Thats just my 2c.
