Catch Falling Things version 0.3 (critique requested)

entropicdecay

Edit 2 (2023): this game was never finished and I don't think I could finish it, because I can't seem to find the Stencyl project file anymore, only the exported SWF... and Flash has also been end of lifed, but if I could find the project file I might have been able to change it to HTML5 or something.**

Edit: for some reason this doesn't seem to work properly on the Weasyl submission. However, if you click download and open up the .swf file in your browser, hopefully it should work. I don't know what the issue is with it on the submission page, I'm not sure if it's something I could fix or not or what's causing the problem

Version 0.3 of the Flash game thing. Now with another level!

Instructions:
-Left and right arrow keys to move
-Space bar or Z to jump
-Things (squares) will fall from the sky
-If they touch your character, you will collect them and increase your score
-Invisible walls will prevent objects from flying off the sides of the screen
-Events such as background changes, new types of things starting to fall, and entering another level will occur upon reaching certain amounts of points

The wall-circles are a nice new twist. I might suggest, and this is just thinking off the top of my head, that when the second level goes from one-block to two-block mode, a second pair of circles that move at a slightly different speed might be added. Not too fast, obviously, but just enough to make it a step up in difficulty. And I haven't thought through that idea at all beyond typing it so it may yet prove to be crap

That's actually very similar to an idea that I was considering and may try possibly implementing in a later version, though I was thinking a second set that move at the same speed but are in a different location
