Pages like this reveal a lot about what I like in comics: somewhat plausible and explained super-science. It's "super" so it's currently impossible but that's why it's Super-Science-Fiction! As the issue nears its end the amount of sass and gunfire will only increase!

Boys have kissed, swords have been drawn, and shots have been fired; pretty soon the bodies are going to start to drop.
