Home is Where You Make It (critique requested)

Some do not enjoy the smell of the carrion. Some say our decor is barbaric. Some fear the sound of our calls, the sound of our hunting songs. They are right to do so. This is our home - and we will fight for it.

Man, I suddenly noticed I draw a lot of monster girls! I guess I need to balance this out... by drawing monster boys.
So yeah, pretty bird ladies chillin' in a tree. One of these days I need to draw a picture of 'classic' harpies - they be terrifyin', yo.

Wow, those are some neat harpies! I am loving the style, its so warm and colourful! There's so much detail and the characters look very nice with the tree.
I've always liked that sort of tribal bone-decor sort of thing, and it goes well with harpies especially. But a few little nitpicks I have are that their clothes look a little out of place with the duller natural colours, and I would suggest them perhaps be more pale or unsaturated. Oh, and maybe also their wing-hands should maybe be defined more? So that they look less like spikes and more like claws? (Unless that's the point, but I think they're meant to be wing hand things, right?) Anyway, I hope that helps, and also, overall it looks amazing~

Thanks for the detailed comment, yo!
Their clothes are actually supposed to be saturated to try and get the girls to be a little more visible, for worry of them blending into the background, but I see where you're coming from. Duller clothes would make more sense thematically so I try that out next time.
I definitely agree about the claws, though. They were meant to look more hand like, but they turned out a bit silly looking. :P
      Thank you again!
