The morning sun beat down on the world. It baked the ground and grass and everything else it touched, bringing forth an earthy scent one could only describe as 'summer.'
One young faun avoided the sun as best he could - an obliging tree serving as shelter - and whirred the time away by singing songs of adventures, kinship, and enchanted castles.
This was my first ever attempt at using just Copics, without any watercolour or pencils. Which turned put pretty well, aside from a teensy amount of watercolour in the top right corner, because I ran out of the right marker ink for the tree. ^ ^;
The clouds kinda turned out a disaster, but I managed to fix them with white ink until they didn't look oppressive.
So yeah, fauns, summer days, shadows, trees and sky -- I think I drew picture of all my favorite things on accident. :O
Media: Copic markers, Sakura Microns colored pens, a smidge of watercolour, and white ink+white gel pens.
