This Celtic tune is an original song of mine that I composed a number of years ago, and which appeared on my old 2007 album Shadows, in a version played on Native American style flute. The title is Irish Gaelic, and translates to "O Pulse of My Heart." I have decided to renew and re-dedicate this song in honor of the marriage of two friends of mine, who asked me to play for their wedding in the woods of southwest Ohio, where this video was recorded. The flute featured here is an Irish-style wood flute made by Geoffrey Ellis from curly Douglas fir and ebony, in the key of E. I'm fairly certain that the occasional "popping" sounds heard in this video are from raindrops hitting on or near my camera.
