Although these two are of different species, Ashtalon and Chester have been growing closer and closer as time has passed. Each has come to realise they enjoy the other's company very much and they have been spending increasingly longer time together.

Now, deep in the forest, the gryphon and dragon snuggle up together. The dragon and gryphon are close - close enough to be a mated pair, such is their love for each other. As yet unexpressed in words, however Chester has decided now is the time to change that. He gently lays Ashtalon down on his side, beak close to the dragon's snout, looks deep into his eyes, and finally says those beautiful words for the first time.

"I love you."

A while ago I commissioned this piece (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15263423/) which showed these two together. I loved it so much, I started imagining my two characters as being together. I wanted to have another piece drawn of them, but this time emphasising the emotional, loving aspect rather than just fun sexytimes. So that's this picture! I LOVE what Naira did with this, she absolutely nailed it and the look in their eyes is so perfect.

I know it's really sappy. But let me enjoy my sappy fantasy~
