This is part one of what will eventually be a pretty lengthy species guide for my Kimet species!
Sapient birds--in a world where they have evolved to fill the very same niche we humans in our own world have evolved to fill.
They fill it...a little differently than we do, however...

I LOVE THESE BABIES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
I want ten oh my god.
(also a small note the size of the keel has relatively little impact on gliding ability; you only need muscle to move the wings up and down which is why pigeons -that are very powerful flyers- have HUGE keels and things like albatrosses which are masters of dynamic soaring don't have very big ones)
