Completed inks for that ongoing commission project for . I've been posting progress shots and studies of this on my Twitter for those who have been keeping tabs.
Some of the best inks I've done this year I think. Possibly good enough to be standalone! So I decided to upload it before smush colors on it.
Done with Copic multiliners on smooth Bristol, 9''x12''. Took about 5-6 hours to ink, give or take. File intentionally downsized and lower res, as I only give the client the larger file.

Gods be damned this has got to be your best inkwork so far this year to be sure, I'm in love with that shatter effect. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't commission it for Clove first!

A-freaking-mazing!! The distortion from the shattered pieces is a great touch that really bumps the whole thing up to the next level
