Although this guy was just created for one story (that I may or may not post here as well?) I very much liked designing this character. It was challenging and satisfying. One of my headcanons on arcane mages, specially the more powerful ones, is that they have a bizarre sense of fashion. I designed his attire following that as a principle. The light muscle-like pattern on his robes was kind of a pain; I don't want to imagine what it would be like to ink that... o.o But I like it a lot, and I think it goes well with the mask. Yay, masks! :3 The blue/green jewels on his shoulder pads, gloves and top of the mask are not actually jewels, they are arcane eyes that are activated at will and he can "see" trough them like a weird bug, tehee...
