I knew I wanted to do an owl for Magician ever since I started in on this set. Owls have always been the symbol for intelligence for me. I'll blame that on Archimedes from The Sword and the Stone.

I was also inspired a bit on the design for this owl, by this blind owl, who looks like they have the very universe in their eyes. It was breath taking.

I'm so pleased with how this turned out. I can't wait for the rest of the set.
