One of the creatures I created for a college project called Pangea. This drawing is one of the concept art I did for that project. I will post a new one every day for the next week :3

About the species:

Just like their forest relatives, the savannah Hasselus are omnivorous creatures, descendants from the Homalocephale, but their way of living shaped their bodies to be more massive and strong instead of light and fast: they're more hunters than gatherers, hunting in groups using their strength and weapons to catch big preys. These Hasselus live in a matriarchal society: the leaders and other top positions among them are always females, as well as the warriors, since the female Hasselus are bigger and stronger than males, whose appearance resemble more of those who live in the forest. The males learn from the very beginning that they will never be as good and respected as the females, being their appearance what makes the females think they're worst and less qualified to do the high-position work, leaving the males with low-ranked tasks. The probability of newborn males are much smaller than the probability of females, though, a fact that sometimes bothers them, since (unfortunately, some may think, since their society is primarily homosexual) they need the males for breeding.
