Hello, Weasyl users! We’ve got some fresh new site implementations ready for action, and some other site news.

First, let’s talk about our new SFW mode. You can find the toggle for this option in the menu bar next to the inbox link in the top right corner of any Weasyl page. If the circle is red and the text is displaying “sfw off”, this means that you will be able to view everything that is uploaded under the ratings you have selected for your maximum viewable ratings. If it is green and the text is displaying “sfw on”, this means that the mode is turned on and you will only view submissions that are uploaded under your selected maximum rating for SFW mode. To change what your maximum rating is for SFW mode “on”, select it in your Site Preferences. In addition, you also have the option to turn SFW mode on when you log in.

Next up in the changes is a basic one. You will now receive notifications about favorites/comments on submissions you have collected.

We also wanted to give you an update on the moderator recruitment. Our first two new recruits are doing well, and we have plans to bring in up to four more moderators over the next few months. We also wanted to thank our userbase for continuing to send in reports. We really appreciate it!

Lastly, notice anything different about our logo? Something has disappeared from it...the word “Beta”! We’re officially out of Beta status now. Thank you to all of our users, old and new, who have supported us through our Beta journey. We hope that you will continue to enjoy the site as we take this next big step.
