Thanks for the favs. Will check your stuff when I get home as I'm a big fan of OST's, especially videogames. In fact that Freya pic was inspired and done with both the Undertale and the Legend of Mana soundtracks. It's really important to me as it sets the mood and atmosphere of the pic which in turn dictates.. well everything really.
-
Hey you, I just wanted to get back in touch and let you know the music you did for me worked perfectly with the animation I got, more on that soon!
-
-
Howdy there, Just wanted to say always a treat to see you posting more of your great musical posts. Glad to see ya doing more keep up the amazing work!~
-
Thank you so much!!! ;~; For a while I'd been really, really, really slow to post my stuff here... I'm glad I got started again, seeing your comment here. :D I'll keep workin' through the backlog a few at a time, and hopefully I'll have plenty more to share with you in the future, too! :D
-
Everyone has their slow times that's totally fine, Life comes first aye! Sides, with the great quality you post out there I myself say it's totally worth the wait. I still do listen to your past remixes time to time when I'm out actually! Brings color and runs the imagenation in life. So I'll be rooting for ya always to continue to work your musical magic and bring more color to life!

Remember you asked to see it if I ever got around to drawing that Leviship that I thought up listening to Major Boss Battle from Freedom Planet? Well, um, started it! :D

-
Hey thanks for the favs and kind words woofle :3
(on FA. I assumed not to mention it over there since you're over here on Weasyl now!) -
-
Random fact! Sherlock Holmes was awarded an award for being the character most depicted on-screen, for a total count of 254 times!
-
-
Mhm! I'll be working on the sequel, too! A list of games I worked on is in my profile, over yonder ->
I should add Dragon Snack and Caves and Chasms to that list! D: Caves and Chasms was especially fun!!!
-
-
Thanks for further faves, I'm really behind on thanking people and the granting of trilobites because I am in the Art Zone. I have several dozen of them trundling around and bumping into things as a result. :)

Thanks for faving the Paw-Post journal! I... didn't realize you could fave journals - that's a great idea! XD I post them twice a week so hope you enjoy more of them.
-
Heck yeah! :D I didn't even know anyone made anything like that, so that makes me really happy!! :D I'll be readin' 'em all! (and yeah, journal favoriting is AWESOME!!! I love that feature.)
I was wondering, do you have a chart that explains the different um... types (C1, C2, etc,) anywhere? I saw designations for them, and I understood most of 'em, but I'm still kind of learning!-
*nodsnosd* There is a link in the Legend at the top of all Paw-Posts to both FA and Weaysl that explains the classification system. :) It's something that Sera and I came up with to help folks identify the type of paw in the picture at a glance. I always post a Legend in the top part of Paw-Posts to explain the various abbreviations used for pictures. ^_^
-
-
Hmm... yeah, on a Paw-Post, I might show that as C1/C2, which usually implies it could fall to either side. Yeah, it was just a sort of spur-of-the-moment thing one day when Sera and I were chatting on Skype. She mentioned how it'd be easier for knowing what pictures were worth checking in a hurry, and I thought it was a great idea. So we kinda went back and forth a bit on what the classes would be and what the division lines between the types could be, and came up with the five main types. What I need to do though is keep going back and adding some more examples.
So question for you - do you think I should make the link back to the journal explaining it more obvious? You didn't see it at first.
-
Yeah, I think that might help. You could copypaste the link to the explanation into a few spots, maybe beneath the beginning of each section or somethin' like that... I feel kind of silly for missing it, honestly. XD
Also, oooh! So either side! :D Works for me! You can feel free to use any of the footsie stuff I have (well, I guess it's just the one for now XD) as examples if you want, too!
Have you two thought about maybe uploading a visual chart, too, for people? With the permission of the artists, of course, but yeah. That could also be a thing! I dunno, either way, I love the journals :D! Looking forward to more.

Eee! Thank you so much! :D I didn't know how many Weasyl users had heard of it or played it. :o It's nice to see that there are a few out there!
-
I've come here from FA I'm very new. I found a link to your FA page from the Freedom Planet website. I have to admit I was a little surprised at first. ^^
-
Welcome to Weasyl!! :D n' yeah, I don't really go around talking about the 'furry' thing too much, so I can definitely see it being a surprise! I'm not a 'furry musician' per se (like say, Reynard... I think that's his name,) but rather a musician who happens to think animal-people are pretty dang cool. ♥

Allow me to say, it is nice to see another writer around here.
I am looking forward to see your works, and musicianship too unfold around here.

-
Dude your sound is really great! Something about it gives me this majorly nostalgic feel, and it's just really really good over all c: You have a lovely day~
-
-
Oh gosh, I'm going to have to see that place someday, if it's anywhere near as pretty! This view is actually over several quasi-towns in southern California. Rancho Cucamunga, Upland, a bit of Pomona, Fontana, Ontario, Chino and all that. Something about cities at night is really magical. I hope to see El Paso that way someday, too! :D [/longwinded]
-
:3c http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles43649.jpg el paso is my hometown. i recently visited this last december for the first time in 7 years and i really appreciated it and how pretty it was. i miss it now more than i did when i left. XD

The furcadia character (Kelfonne?) I log her on about once a year or so, to see how Shawna's doing. I treat it as her visiting her sister, since Verse has likely settled down somewhere to live a peaceful life. There's a character somewhat similar to her that I still use often elsewhere.... Kelfonne, though, for the most part, has been retired.

Oh gosh! Thank you!! :D I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the follow, too! I hope you enjoy all the new stuff as well!

Sometime I will have to nose around your SL stuff as well! And actually be competitive with speedrunning FP...
-
Oh yeah! :D I'm on there a lot, but I don't really make anything, or anything like that. I just like taking pictures of RP sims I go to. I ended up sort of accidentally writing a whole album about one, though. XD My character pages both have screenshots on 'em, and I have a little folder of SL screenies, though.
Also, speedrunning is hard. D: But I bet you can do it!! :D

Well hey Woofle. Sorry for the late response! It has been a while since FA, and I've been missing, and missing out, on your music. Nice to see you're still chugging along with it.
-
-
-
Oooh! Hey! :D I actually first found your music through the whole big hubub going over on FA. I check that site every now and then to see stuff from the stubborn few who wouldn't move over here with me. xD You were one of the few rational people in the comments section for that big meltdown journal, so I checked your page, and was blown away! Awesome stuff! We could totally work together sometime! :D
-
Wow, um really? I've never worked with a professional...hehehe thank you! What sort of music could you make that would allow vocals?
-
Yeah, really!! :D A-also, I don't know about calling me a professional, but I'm kind of okay I guess. >_>; Anyway, I was thinkin' about this comment (I've been on a trip and just got home, sorry for the late reply!) and I have to say, literally any music can have vocals. We could build something around a guitar piece though, like, start with that, and shoot files back and forth or somethin', and then mix 'em all together?
-
-
-
-
Well thank you XD. You could sorta say I had the properly for a long time I just never really moved in. But I plan on uploading more soon! I just hope you dun mind NSFW stuff! (Cause there will be.)
-
-
Those photos were absolutely breathtaking. It made me want to get out of the house, run to my car, and drive until I was at the Grand Canyon. xD Buuut by the third or fourth photo I felt like I already had!!!
-
And that's just the south rim! Ive yet to see the north rim, but hear its a completely different experience since it's a thousand feet higher in elevation than the south! I think I still have a few more from the trip to post, but Ive also got quite a bit of food to do also, so we'll just have to see where I go x3
-
-
-
Hi! I think you have some very interesting characters! Do you have links ot bigger versions of the chapter thumbnails?
-
Oh hey, thanks!!! Yeah, I do have them. I can upload the ones that the artist(s) didn't want to post on their pages to imgur or something, since I don't want to repost their work to my page, and they don't want to post it either for whatever reason. XD If you'd like, go ahead and note me!
I'll be getting full-blown references of them all next year, money permitting.
-
-
-
Your music stirs my soul. I'm gonna HAVE to commission you at some point...I won't be able to eventually die a happy man before that happens...
-
-
You're welcome! Those photos make me miss the woods... It took me back to seeing sights like that when I was younger! ♥
-
Awwee <3 I really want to go back to camping D: but I only have the pictures from the past. XD The camp fire, the fighting over tents, the elders snoring , the fighting over marshmallows at the fire. The disappearing for hours into the woods exploring. <3 Even swimming in the always ice cold river.
Hehe xD I was listening to your songs on repeat for awhile. A few reminded me of like woodland adventures or like open meadows. <3 Fun yet peaceful, full of life.
-
Haha, yeah... I miss those things too. It's been way, way, way too long here, even since I've just like... been to the forest. XD I dunno, those photos have inspired me. I'm gonna get back out there next year when I can afford it. I've got to get to the desert, too, and everywhere else!!
Oh my gosh, thank you! ;~; I'm glad you really liked my songs that much. ;~; I hope to have more to upload soon, too! :D
-

-
-
-
-
-
-
Ack! Sorry about that. ;~; Nobody seems to know I left. xD
It's probably because I didn't really make a huge splash about it like most other folks did when they left.
That, and anymore, so many people upload so many journals that it's easy to just swooshdodge 'em when they come up, and mine had a really innocuous title. I left back in like... February, I believe, so it was during that whole storm of people leaving, too. Anyway, all that aside, here I am. x3 Glad to see you here, too!
-
-
You are dearly welcome and thank you for faving the Blushy one :3
Maybe I should post a lot more here in this site rather than FA~ -
Hi! I just started Freedom Planet and I had to track you down to say the music is incredible - it really stands out in giving the game its sort of Playstation-era platformer atmosphere :D Thanks for your contribution to it - it feels like what the Sonic series should have turned into after the Megadrive :)
-
Holy crap thank you! x3 That was just about my favorite era in gaming, so I'm glad to hear I was able to nail down the sound well enough. I really hope you enjoy the music all the way through! :D
Also, yes. I'm sad to this day that Sonic didn't go this direction. ;~; It could've been so cool!-
I really have :) As much as it's a Sonic-inspired game, it actually reminded me a lot of Adventures of Lomax - the music as well as some of the art style! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70hUi_B0CdY#t=5m30s Did you play it, by any chance?
-

-
I'm so unbelievably happy that freedom planet is out...Because of you I joined this site. YOU! Much love to you!
-
-
it literally is because of you. Congrats on the successful release. And I do plan on grabbing the soundtrack soon... once I get some cash flow again.
also, I did show you I went drag racing the one time, yeah?
-
Awww ;~; Well, I'm really happy that you came! Flattered that I'm the only reason, too! D:
And yes, I got to see!! :D It makes me want to go back to the drags again. I'm having withdrawls. ;~;
-
same, trust me... But at the same time, I do wanna keep my car in one piece... =o/
I need to do an autocross day...
-

-
-
oh gosh, thank you for the favorite! it's greatly appreciated ; v ; i picked up FP not long ago, i love your composition style! and uh, i'm glad you share similar "interests", hahah...
-
Oh hey, you're welcome! I really found the picture and the character both absolutely adorable! x3!
Also, seriously, thank you. ;~; FP was definitely a wild project to work on. There were a lot of twists and turns in the development, but as a result, it made me a better musician, and it was a crazyfun ride.! Are you likin' the game so far?-
sorry for the late reply ; . ; you're super welcome too, and i'd love to hear more about how things went some time, if you like!
i absolutely adore the game! it really captures the feeling of adventure - between the big, roamy levels and your mobility, and i love how you made such driven music that's so enchanting! before i bought the game i listened to the Dragon Valley themes nonstop for days... they and the Schmup Level theme are my favorite blazin' action tracks. also, i adore Pangu Lagoon's music! it's just so calming while i'm busily murderizing thousands and thousands of alien BEEEEEEES.
congratulations on such lovely work!
-
I did some documentation up for it, that got bundled in with the OST on Soundcloud, and on Steam as well, but I don't know how that all works. XD If you end up getting either, let me know if the documentation actually is bundled in!! If not, I can send it to you.
I'm actually really happy to hear about the schmup stage being a hit with you. xD That song went through sooo many changes. It was originally meant for Jade Creek, but the producer ended up not wanting it for that stage, although he liked it. He had me make it more 'spacey' for the schmup levels, and that's what you hear today! The original Jade Creek version of it is on the OST toward the end though. And OH GOD NOT THE BEEEEEEEEEEEEES. That level is such nightmare fuel, innit? XD That level's song was really fun to make, though. It's probably easy to tell from the music that it originally was a water level! The water was replaced with BEES though.
Thank you again ;~;

I recently came across Freedom Planet, and I love the work you've done for it. The rest of the works here are super neat as well!
-
Eee! Thank you so much! :D Freedom Planet's going to come out really soon, so I hope that you enjoy the whole soundtrack! :D I'm really glad you like my other stuff on here, too.
-
Oh, absolutely. I actually ended up taking a double take to see if this game was actually a thing. It excites me to see these kind of platformers still coming out.
-
Hehe, heck yeah! I'm excited about it, too. These are the kind of games we grew up on! (W-well, at least I did. xD I might be dating myself, here!) It was a sad time when everything became about such 'modern' ideals as 'being brown' 'being entirely online' 'yearly installments which don't really change much' and 'being all about shooting everyone forever'
I'm hoping Freedom Planet helps bring back the age of the thing most game companies forgot, which is: 'fun!'
-
It's true that gamer demographics have changed, but there's still some credit where it's due. People are doing their best with new technology we've been getting lately (Virtual Reality + First Person games hrrrrrg), plus we as individuals now possess an extraordinary amount of development power as a result, such as Goat Simulator!
Although it really is a shame that many big games that looked so promising get hosed down by conflict of interests (Which I also experienced firsthand). But I think we're finally starting to move past the whole generic military and brown world concept.
-
True, very true! x3 There have been a lot of new, exciting developments since the '90s. I hope you're right that we're moving beyond Brown Earth: The Battle for Brown Earth: Bloom Lighting Patch. x3
-
Brown Earth: The Battle for Brown Earth <---so temepted to make a mock rpg maker game of this for the lols .. it wouldn't be long cause my programing with rpg maker blows, but it would be to funny not to :D

Thanks for the fave. Glad you got some use out of it.
And apologies for the late reply. I've been away.-
I should thank you for posting it!! It was a very enlightening read.
I've been working on writing something (calling it a novel would be a bit lofty, despite its length,) for a few years now. I hadn't ever written anything beforehand, and still have a lot to learn. This taught me a lot of handy tricks which I hadn't already picked up, and a lot of things to avoid, too! Thank you again for making it!

I hope you never stop making music. I haven't been around your music stuffs as much lately, but I know it all must be awesome.
Please never stop. ;_; <3

So fucking cool to find musicians here. I'll be checking your stuff out later. You can thank <!~weasyl-rory> for pointing you out. I can see why.

You're welcome! I thought it was awesome, and it was neat to see someone playin' an actual instrument on here! :D
I've been composing for games since 2011, when I scored Hitogata Happa, also! :D I was composing for a long, LONG time before that, but it was my first big break!-
I am also just starting to make electronic music. I have a bunch more songs that I made with my guitar, but I am a bit more active on Fur Affinity. What is Hitogata, by the way? I tried looking it up and got a user on Deviant Art.
-
Yeah, I was more active on FA, too, but I'm trying to shift over more to being on Weasyl! As far as Hitogata Happa goes, all the blue text in my profile on the upper right is actually links, so you can click the name of each game, to learn about it! :D I hope that helps!
-
-
-
-
...do people thank each other for faves on this site? I'm not sure since I'm new here, but thanks all the same! I really appreciate it! :D
-
-
-
-
But of course! I'm very fond of that game, and you did a wonderful job on the artwork (I've watched/followed you, because I really like the style!)
(Also random tidbit, that game was the inspiration behind 'Corner' XD)
-
-
Hey Woofle. Just wanted to say that your music really makes for a refreshing listen whenever I'm busy doing a bunch of random things on my computer. x3 Always a treat to hear music made in styles similar to old-school and old-school-esque RPGs! :D
-
-
I'm sure everyone agrees that your music is awesome, and just fun to listen to. 10/10, would put on "Repeat 1" again! :D
-
I just stumbled upon your stuff today, and I have to say I really respect your musical skill! Keep up the good work!
-
-
I literally just joined Weasyl tonight and one of your scores was the first thing I found to look at on here. Err- I mean listen to. I've never been on FA as I usually kept my stuff up on DA, but this stuff is amazing! Best find of the night I'd say!
-
-
-
Is there anywhere I can download your music en masse? What I do have of yours on my mp3 player inspires my writing a lot!
-
Y'know, I never thought about putting up a place like that.... Once I get Weasyl all uploaded to, it'll definitely be a better source to grab files off of, as FA has a ton of old not-so-good music of mine on it, and Weasyl won't... I don't know if that's much help though. :\ I can think'a somethin'!
-
-
-
Oh gosh Woofle's hear too?! Time to favorite your music en masse all over again! Seriously I love your work :3
-
As soon as I heard this place had folders, SHOOM! I was here. XD I'm still working on migrating my gallery over here, but soon I'll be able to post to both sites simultaneously, and eventually, I'll just stay here. x3 I've been redoing a few older pieces while I upload things, too! So yeah! :D [/ramblyena]
