Also, kind of funny that your birthday also falls on Canada Day, especially since red and white are somewhat common in your characters' colour palattes. =p -

Your art is wonderful! You don't see too many arthropods around, it's mostly felines or canines (which I'm guilty of myself). But your art and characters are wonderful and I can't wait to see more!!!

May I ask why do you think that about my character (I suppose you're talking about Nae, the mantis geisha?)?-
Normally, I'm not a big fan of insect-like characters. But she's made up of a handful of really beautiful things. Geishas, mantises, and the subtle red markings on pure white is absolutely gorgeous. She's just such a fantastically put together character~ I remember a few days ago, my friend AJ and I were just gawking at how much we loved her.
You're also really amazing at art, so that helps..! <3

I will admit that I first thought you may have been Japanese, but perhaps that's because of your beautiful artwork's influence. My gut tells me that instead your language may be European of some kind, but not an Eastern European language (Polish, Russian, Czeck etc...). I would say... French, but...
