Thanks it is a nickname I earned from having my ass kicked and not giving a shit till the guy hitting me missed and crunched his fist through a PC monitor. After that I laughed and said "You can't fuck with me I am dangerous" meaning pun but being Dane the next day everyone called me DANEgerous and it has stuck.

Insanity might be right. Others have claimed that mental illness (sociopathy, specifically) may legitimately be part of the cause of their behaviour. I can't say, but regardless of their reasoning, their shit shouldn't be tolerated.

It's ridiculous. The stereotype of furries being sexual deviants is a whole hell of a lot harder to disprove when the owner of the most popular furry site possesses a documented history of aiding sexual predators, and the same site's coder has his own track record of scummy behaviour and is widely thought to be a rapist. Don't forget that a convention exists around that site. The whole thing is just awful for all of us.

Oh hey, hi how are you? Um you may not know me but i've read your thing about FA. I left FA, not completely, and i joined weasyl because of the fact that I sensed something was going to occurred. Although i did not know that the said person/group that has caused a controversy was involved with a type of rape i never heard, because i don't like to be involved in drama, i find the fact rather disturbing and how the admins don't care is quite uncomfortable and unacceptable. Any who I just wanted to greet you and give ya a kudos for standing up to the whole situation.

Hiring someone widely-believed to be a rapist is an incredibly foolish move, and when considering his victims are members on that site, is downright evil. Censoring criticism of this is ridiculous too. If you need a shining example of the polar opposite of a role model, it's easily found on FA's staff.

I'm by no means a big name artist there (my watcher count is only 700+ and i don't post anything anymore), so i doubt i'll be truly missed, but fuck.. Glad to have you over here on Weasyl and I look forward to seeing your work!-
Go for it! Seven-hundred isn't much less than the number of people I had watching me on FA, but it was apparently enough for that journal to erupt in popularity. You don't have to be the most popular artist — I'm certainly not — but you're not a lone voice. We're a collective of pissed-off people who won't stand for this bullshit in our own community! Every individual who voices their disapproval helps.
By all mean, definitely go ahead and clear your gallery. You can crosspost submissions easily with Waxpost, and transfer your watch list with SOFT (formerly hilariously named "Fender Bender"). I just suggest leaving one of these as your featured submission and/or profile image. Don't forget to clear all of your notes too, including emptying the trash folder. Make sure the journal post is the last step you take, in case you get suspended or banned for it.

I'm actually well aware of Waxpost! I've been suggesting it to others whom i've seen with concerns about cross-posting being a major hassle :3 I've even tried using it previously, but for some reason it wasn't working for me. I may just say fuck it and just re-upload select pieces (namely character sheets and gifts)
Had no idea about SOFT's original name though! XD That is hilarious.. I hadn't even though about deleting my notes though, but thank you for suggesting it!
I suppose you're right though about being a collective voice on the matter. I just really hope that in the end it's worth it. Personally, for me, I'd just be happy with them removing Zaush from staff, or better yet, if he willingly stepped the fuck down, but i don't see either happening any time soon..
I can deal with the constant broken promises of site improvement, but having the lead administration completely ignore the public outcry is unacceptable, and down right disturbing.. Add to that, the victim shaming/blaming that is being spewed by everyone, it's all beyond not ok and just the final straw of many...
I've even read several journals from artists i truly admired saying 'Good riddance, more business for me!' in regards to all of the bigger name artists jumping ship... Which just... sickens me.. :|Anyway.. XD Sorry for spamming your shouts! I can keep chatting through notes if you'd prefer.

Guess that couldn't hurt as a gauge to the community's collective outrage, though I'd be surprised if Dragoneer adhered to it. He's stuck so far up his own ass he's in danger of choking on his own head. I do want Zaush gone and banned, but then there's the greater problem of Dragoneer, himself. He's just as much of a scumbag, and needs to be ejected from that site and the fandom as hard as anyone.

Ah no problem man! I just caught up on all the issues, myself, and even I feel like I might leave FA...not permanently, but I'm certainly moving over to Weasyl and DA more often now. I've had many issues with FA in the past as well, it's just really not a good place. At all. I wish I didn't have so many friends on it, or I WOULD leave completely...Ugh. Dragoneer disgusts me. Those people are junk and they needed to be called out. I was hoping to it would provide a thorough collection of evidence of their misdeeds, and a convincing-enough argument for others to not put up with their shitty behaviour. I really didn't expect this many people to take notice, nor did I expect all the praise that came with it. I thought maybe a handful of my friends would see, the journal would get swiftly deleted, and then the crosspost on Tumblr would blow over, but hundreds of people have commented on and liked/reblogged it. It's more than I ever thought would happen, and it is really encouraging to see so many people are as disgusted and enraged as I've been.

I'm surprised I didn't see your art before, but glad I read what you posted through tumblr, especially glad you took the time to write it all out in such perfect wording, even though those idiots didn't deserve it(and reading the comments its obvious half of them didn't care/are still thinking it was consent and just..ugh). Im glad to have found someone who cares and takes a stand, its nice to find as another survivor.

The majority of the comments I've gotten regarding what I said have been positive. Maybe, collectively, people aren't as awful as we sometimes assume. Just look at everyone who's migrated here; so many people refuse to put up with their bullshit — it's way more than I had anticipated.
Especially as a survivor, I'm really glad that you liked what I wrote.
