No problem! I haven't forgotten about you with our previous conversations either, I just like to give thoughtful answers to thoughtful comments. :3
-
That's alright. I can be patient. :) Though... I like comments on my submissions too y'know. :P (I don't mind really. )
-
Yeah, everyone does! Its just that... Its kinda hard to put into words why I like something when I do... So just a warning, if I make short ones like "Cool" or "Great Job" don't say that I didn't warn you! ^_^
-
Lol, that's okay. To me, it doesn't matter WHAT the comment says, just as long as someone took the time out to do it! Even if it is one word. (Sometimes even I don't say much in my comments.. I try to think of something though.) It could even be to say, "eh.. don't really like it." And I'll still be happy someone took the time out to say it... though I'll be honest, I'll probably ask the person about that last one, to at least just see what they didn't like about it so I can try to do better... heh

No problem, no problem! Thank you kindly for watching me too! :D
Mine has to be Throh! He's my absolute favorite; every team I make I put him in it because he's really sturdy for a Fighting Pokemon, and he doesn't get enough love. xP
What's yours, do you play competitively or casually? What game is your most current, or do you play Pokemon Simulators? I:3-
I'm all about Venusaur! He's just too cute! He's been my favorite for a loooong time, too! I play casually, but I'm looking to make some friends who play, too, that I can play against or trade with, whatever! Right now, I'm working on collecting medals on Black 2 and playing through Platinum again.
-
Venusaur is interesting, I can't use him very well though (Well, any Sunlight team I have trouble with, I just like to beat em up, barley any strategy involved in that! xP) My longest time favorite Pokemon is either Mewtwo or Growlithe. :P
I play semi-competitively, but its taken a damper because it seems like everyone cheats these days on the actual game, and I refuse to do that, takes the fun out playing for me, so I usually keep to myself and my mate. However I play on Pokemon Showdown because you get to choose everything about your Poke, then test it out against other players, so its fair, and you can experiment with teams before spending hours in-game getting them leveled up and EV'd and find out that your team sucks. xD
For now, I'm waiting until I can get enough money to either fix my DS (Broken hinge) or to get a 3DS before I start playing again. I have White right now, but I'm hoping to get Black 2 before I get the 3DS version that's coming out (Though all of this will take money, and I don't have a job just yet... ;_;)
I used to run a fan-based Pokemon League (Not registered with Nintendo though, there were plans to though), but I got tired of the drama (Seriously, there would be more drama in the League than in the whole of the furry fandom! :P) and I ended up disbanding it... Though... I'd like to make another one again, and maybe have it be invite-only or have stricter rules to keep the ruffians out. Although there was drama, it was almost like a family, we'd watch Pokemon movies and hold giveaways every Saturday, and we'd just talk for the longest time... Good times... Would you join if I made one? :3

Thanks for following me. I see you're semi-new yourself so, a belated welcome from a newbie? I have to say though, if you make more things like that fox-tail keyring, I'm definitely going to want to see more. :)
-
Yup, I'm a newbie too, thanks for the welcome as well as watching me back! :3 I'm really liking the site a lot so far, even though its a tad quiet compared to FurAffinity or DeviantArt. x)
I definitely will be focusing more on crafty things like plushies, fursuit items, and yarn tails here, because visual art burns me out too quickly. x)
I'll have another tail up soon, I'm wanting to do some experimenting with the length and size of em. :3I see that you're a writer! I'm trying to come out of a 5 year hiatus with writing, but I'm such a perfectionist, I don't really know where to start... I have so many old stories and characters that I want to incorporate into my newer writing, but I don't know what's keeping me from just getting down to doing it. x)
-
Oh you're having a writing drought? (that's what I call those on long Hiatus.) I had one of those myself, in fact, I've only just recently started to get myself out of it and it's been a very slow and steady process. I've literally just sat myself down and wouldn't allow myself to do anything else until I wrote something. It's on of my favorite things to do and it was quite depressing when I wasn't doing it.
I've never been on Fur Affinity myself, but I have a few friends who frequent there. Deviantart is my usual place to hang out at. (I never could get myself into sheezy art.) Thought things rarely happen on my D.A. page This place is still in Beta, so I'm curious to see how it develops. Also just as curious about what other things you'll make, so I'll keep an eye out for that.
-
Haha, consider yourself lucky to not have traversed the cesspool that's known as FA. Its a breeding ground for trolls and other unsavory folk, (Even though I'm thin-skinned, there's been a few times where its just been horrible what they did to my then-friends, some people will start drama over small things, like not getting a request) and its widely know that their administration is corrupt... <_< I've been to SheezyArt, but when I finally got to it, it was pretty much dead... x) If this site died, I don't think I'd even go back to FA... I'd either go to Nayban (Just because I've never been) or go back to Inkbunny.
Yeah, its still in Beta, so you can't expect much in the way of bustling traffic, but I'm going to stay for about the same reason, and its better than the alternatives in my opinion. I really think this site shows promise if we give it enough time and get good people to join. I read a journal where someone's friend was thinking of leaving already though! I mean really? The site is barely a YEAR OLD, and still in beta, and you're thinking it'll have the same amount of users as something that's pretty much been the foundation of furry art for 6 years? I think someone needs to slow down, you know? xD
But enough of scorning other websites... x)
I'll definitely have to sit down and do that, I'm getting that feeling when you have too many stories bumping around in your head and you just need to get em OUT! xD
(Do you ever get worried that you'll forget something cool that you think up like that?)-
Nope, never worried about that. I have this weird thing where I remember every single story idea I've ever had and can easily separate the characters from each one as well as the plots. I'm like a walking storage container for it all. Though I do own tons of notebooks and such that have every single idea I've ever had written into it... It drives my room mate insane since I have so much littered about my art desk. XD
Well, I think giving this place a good long chance is a good idea and thinking it's going to have an explosion boom is a little silly if it's less then a year old. I like things at their beginnings though. It's fun to watch them grow, so I already know I'll probably stay here a long while. (I've never heard of Nayban or Inkbunny before. I have an account on DA and Sheezy art only, though I ignore Sheezy now since it's so dead.) I find most dramas and such created on websites like this to be silly.. well..on any website. I'd rather just try to get along with anyone.
-
Yup, the focus of a website like this is community and to help each other improve as artists, so starting a fight on an art site especially defeats the purpose. x)
I can truly say that the only altercations I've had with people were just misunderstandings or friendly debate, so I think its very possible to get rid of drama just by staying above it. (Although I can't count the times that I wanted to jump into an argument! xD)-
I can count how many times. It might be an accurate number.. but I could still do it. For the moments I remember at least. I remember there was a time when even flamers got me going in anger and defeat- but I usually just take it with a "lol- really?" And go on my way nowadays. Now debates... debates I do all the time. I'm a sucker for arguments of the non... angry kind.

Yup, I'm not going to import the stuff I had from DA and FA, it was all old and I don't feel that it shows my skills now, and I want to start a clean slate. :D
I'm working towards a sort of realistic style with a hint of anime, but its kind of hard, especially when I try and keep the line-art. I like yours because it kind of has the look that I'm wanting, but I want mine to keep the lines to it. :)
