Now, a little about myself. I'm one of those rare furries who has photography as their art form of choice. I took it up because I can't draw. I also have a love for the weird and the wonderful in the world, be they movies or books or art or even ephemera. I just like things that are off the beaten path. I also love old technology. Things made of aluminum with dials and switches that make a satisfying "Click!" when you flip them, marvels of a forgotten age. I also love abandoned places. I love the emptiness. I love the atmosphere. It's not creepy to me. It's fascinating.

So, a question: when you're feeling down or depressed or in a bad mood, what do you do to cheer yourself up?

The reason I ask is because this job I have has been draining me both physically and emotionally. I sometimes find myself coming home and feeling like my life has reached its nadir and that the things that would cheer me up in the past aren't quite working anymore. Thus, I ask all of you out there in internet land for ideas.
