Back when Cartoon Network ran Yule Toons every Christmas Eve, they always closed with this. Nowadays I watch it on my own just before midnight.

Wow...if that isn't just about every furry's idea of how a furry world came about, I don't know what. Interesting that it was made in the U.S. during WWII but BEFORE the U.S. entered the war.

Yes, I remember this. I remember seeing it on TV a few times growing up. There was an urban legend running around for a while claiming that this short had been nominated for the Noble Peace Prize. It was nominated for, but didn't win the Academy Award for short work in 1939.
