Due to a small illness I had over the weekend (don't worry, I'm fine,) and after fumbling with my camera WAY TOO MUCH to record the blog in suit, I decided to write this journal instead. Plus, it helps me explain things a lot more easily.

So, if you may or may not have noticed, I am a HUGE nerd when it comes to the airline industry, and for the past few years, pretty much ever since 2009, I dreamed of being an airline pilot, but not with just any random airline- cough cough screw Southwest cough Excuse me! Anyways, the airline I've pretty much stuck with on hopefully working with in the future is good ol' JetBlue Airways here in the states! Some of you probably saw this coming, as I pretty much boast about how epic the airline is, I fly with them every year, and used their color pallet for Nicholai's design, blah blah blibbaty blobbaty blah! However, I got some unbelievable news back on Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day here in the States.

I've read an article that my bud Liaojay has shared on the AviationFurs Facebook page, saying that my favorite little airline JetBlue is starting a new training program. Being the curious cabbit I am, and of course anything related to JetBlue, I had to check out. And to my surprise, to sum up the article that he has shared is that JetBlue is willing to accept wanna be pilots who do want to work with JetBlue, and will train them, all paid by the airline, from zero flight time, all the way up to being certified to fly their planes! I'll be openly honest here, and that is that I did cry a little when I read over the article.
Why you may ask?
Well 1 is that means I do not have to pay thousands of dollars for basic training in those tiny Cessnas that I hate.
2 is that I live in the city of Orlando, Florida, which is not only JetBlue's 2nd busiest hub, but also is home to their training academy.
3 is that I can apply for them after graduating high school.
And 4 is that MY DREAM IS SLOWLY BECOMING REALITY!!!

Don't worry, this doesn't mean I'm leaving the fandom. I would never leave the fandom if they do hire me for the airline! However, this does mean I won't be on FA as frequently as I normally am, since as of tomorrow, I'm going to be working on my school work like crazy, to see what else I need to get done in order to graduate with a high school diploma, and get myself through JetBlue's front door here in Orlando to work with them!

With the huge hype I have right now on my dream slowly becoming true to work with JetBlue, I'm going to be changing the icon I have on my Fur Affinity, Steam, Weasyl, and Skype to my new pilot icon my friend Domeikuni has made. I literally am excited as hell right now since I do got a higher chance now of working with JetBlue! Could you imagine, this blue cabbit being in the cockpit of one of JetBlue's epic Embraer 190s or Airbus A320s, working with them as a captain in the future?
