I don't know where my last week went, but Homecon is... today! And I'm doing a panel... today!! Wow.

For those that don't know what Homecon is, it's a bi-annual streaming convention that happens over on Tigerdile. People are encouraged to stream daily, do themed art (this time it's Jurassic themed), try making a panel, and/or just generally spending time with your viewers having fun!

At 6pm EST tonight, I'll be doing an hour long panel. The first 15 minutes will be about gathering inspiration and getting yourself in the mindset to draw. The rest of the time will be devoted to Copic marker care and maintenance, as well as ways to use it with mixed and such. I'll be recording this as well, so if you miss the panel, you can still see it later!

The main topics I'll be covering, to help give you all an idea of what to expect, are caring for your markers and how to clean them, where I buy markers and supplies from, some coloring techniques I wish I'd known in the beginning but have learned over time, and how to use other tools to enhance the look of your work.

Now, I wrote that it's an hour, but really it'll just go as long as it takes. I invite any and all questions about the topics at hand, or any other questions you might have about art and art business in general. Additionally, I invite feedback! If I say something and you think "there is a much easier and obvious way to do this, I wonder if Mal knows?", you are totally welcome to bring it up after I do my little spiel. Please be polite and wait until I'm done talking though, I would appreciate it.

One thing I'd like to say is that I am very nervous! I am not a public speaker, and it took me months to even do mic while streaming, as some of you may remember. I'll do my best to speak slowly and clearly. If I sound rushed or you can't understand what I'm saying, please let me know. I am not a public speaker kinda dude.
