Well, it's time for me to freak out and start fearing the first of November.
I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year, and have half-convinced myself that I have a shot at winning. My plan is to write 50,000 words' worth of graphic novel scripts that I could later refine, get feedback on, create artwork for, and hopefully publish somewhere online.
Right now, I am absolutely ready to start panicking. I have ideas, sure, and I have the motivation, maybe, but I probably won't have a lot of time to work. Schoolwork, video games, and having to be a productive member of society are looking to me like enourmous roadblocks that will try to throw me off on my improvised journey. I also fear that my tablet will break soon if I have to keep attempting to write on my daily 2-hour bus ride. I fear tablet breakage. I fear time itself. I fear failure of the competition.
I think I need some friends.
Anybody else out there taking on the challenge? I would really appreciate having somebody to talk with during the process, or someone who can offer me advice or feedback on the work. If somebody wants to do that with me, I would, like, HELLA appreciate it.
