Okay, this is a little more drastic than I was hoping but
I have to close digital commissions for a few weeks. I had planned on doing this anyway, since next week I will be at Illuxcon, and the week after that I will be prepping for Furpocalypse, and the week after that battleferrets will be coming to visit for a month. So I won't have a lot of time on my hands to put into sitting down at a computer and drawing for 5 - 8 hours a day like I normally do.
But on top of that, as my previous journal says, my OBS and Photoshop have not been playing nicely lately. I tried everything I can possibly think of with OBS/my computer to fix it, so streaming is pretty much out of the question for a while. And then I thought hey, maybe it's Photoshop. So I uninstalled and reinstalled....except it wouldn't let me reinstall. Apparently since my Photoshop was a cracked version, some of the original program files were damaged and I cannot get another cracked version. So I literally don't have a drawing program at the moment.
Before anyone suggests, yes, I have tried other art programs. MangaStudio lags just as bad as PS but WITHOUT streaming, Paintstorm's interface is so cluttered it's actually stressful, and SAI isn't Mac compatible. I might try Medibang Paint but even then I won't be taking digital work until things settle down. Depending on how I do at Furpoc I may buy a desktop PC for work and keep the Mac laptop for casual use and travel.
HOWEVER! I am still taking traditional commissions, with the understanding that there may be a delay for the reasons listed above. I am trying to save up for a Cintiq on top of the potential new computer so every little bit is appreciated!

have you tried Krita? I've heard some good things about that program.
