Streaming platforms? by Cowboypunk
Curious about what streaming platforms you guys prefer or use? I'm using picarto right now but have no idea how accessible that is for people ordinarily (I'm pretty sure you have to sign up to chat, for instance, which is silly)

Picarto actually has an option to allow guests in if I recall! https://picarto.tv/settings/chat Should be here under guest chat?
I've seen one artist using tigerdile (don't use it myself) and otherwise perhaps just livestream or ustream..but neither of those are specifically for art and ustream may be a bit more annoying with ads for viewers.-
And I forgot to say but of the others I do like LS but most people I know have their accounts from before it changed to "new" livestream so the layouts act differently and I don't know how nice that one is D:

Someone just informed me of that elsewhere! I guess they must have changed it with a recent update or something because I'm sure I've seen people come on as guests and also require an account
I haven't used LS (the couple times I went on it to watch other artists, I thought it was kind of annoying to deal with) but it always seems more popular? Maybe just cause it's older or something :u

I've been using Picarto because that's where my stream partner and I get the most traffic. However for the service itself, I vastly prefer Tigerdile. Easier to figure out, cheaper, more sense of community, better rules, and AMAZING staff. If I had an issue I could email Tanabi and get a response back within 15 min. He's also given me free shit at conventions lol. And they're flexible with payments. Seriously, the whole site is amazing.
