I've kind of become unaware that I've gotten friend requests, but only a few since activity isn't quite booming on my end, let alone this whole site lol
With that said, I don't plan on making much use of the friend system. I don't think there's anyone here watching me to show things I only want to them see privately that I can't do it elsewhere, like in a messenger...thus making the system rather useless for me.

Also the system is flimsy, imo, so maybe in the future, the staff will give it nice upgrades. Until then, like it is mentioned on the front of my page, I'd rather for people get to know me first before adding me to a friend's list. Friendship is meaningful on deeper levels to me, so the thought of people adding others they don't really know to a friend list feels empty, or like someone is collecting trinkets that suit their tastes to add to their collection. This is of course excluding people you do know/have gotten close with, in case that wasn't obvious haha

Anyways, that's my take on the matter. I thought I'd put this out there in case people don't catch my small notice about this system on my page. Feel free to share your opinions on this if you'd like u w u
