Adobe Error Help by bpanthress

Ok, so as a few of my customers know, I just invested in some very expensive rendering software. It renders. BEAUTIFULLY. It allows for rotation and motion at the touch of a button that would take me HOURS upon hours to get right in Zbrush. Instant background photos, perfect lighting, and magical materials.

And now I CAN'T GET PHOTOSHOP TO IMPORT THE .AVI FILE MADE BY THE RENDER!!!! Photoshop CC, on a Win 7, 64 bit system, throws me a fun little error "dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe has stopped working"

I get an open animation file...and it. is. blank.
It knows exactly how long it should be, it sees all the frames, but it is completely transparent with not a hint of picture on a single frame in it. Does anyone know anything about this, because my attempts to discover anything via google have ended in sad failure, and part of it is probably because I barely have a clue what I'm doing to begin with in this area. :-(

Help? Customers are waiting and I'm at a loss, wanting so badly to put out this upgraded quality and getting stopped at every turn.
