I needed that! MFM was fantastic this year, and I feel rejuvenated!

So much went on it would take to long for me to give a accurate con report. I will summarize as best as I can:

I was really stressed about going this year. I have been in a deep dark place the passed 2.5 months, all artist blocked, and depressed. Nothing I did would pull me out of this state of being. As a result I went to MFM on a wing and a prayer financially. When I don't make art, I don't make money, and my meager savings was drained. I went on my Electric and Water Bill money (which was not much). I had a dealers table and registration I paid for last year. However, all the stuff I had planned to paint/make and sale did not get done so I went with very little new merchandise. All I had was my pencils, and papers, and that was enough apparently. My bills for this month are safe, and my efforts paid for my travel, room, and bored.

There was a few Equine/Brony Furs (Like my self there), and a few events related to that subject. I hung with my Herd most of the weekend (as small as it was). As a result, Thursday night (when I arrived) I had more positive Brony related experiences in that night then I had all of the Weekend at the KC Brony Con! That is saying something.

Friday was working the dealers table, which I got the more Art that day done then any other by a large margin, and then partied in the evening. Starting with the MLP Panel hosted by Felpur. It was amazing, I laughed my ass off, and I literally walked away from that evening with an arm full of PONY! Starting with a Funko Vinyl of Big Mac Squeeee!. Felpur's prizes for the drawing keep getting better every year, and thanks to Morphy for his generosity once again (So much PONY!).

Saturday, was again working the table, but I could not focus as well on what I was doing and kept getting distracted. I felt chained to my table, but I did get all my art/commissions done, just not as fast as I like. I did get all at Con Art commissions completed by Dealer Den Closing, and decided I was not going to take any more work there and just screw off on Sunday (which I knew had the greatest chance of being a Hangover day, last year Sunday was really rough to get any art done for that reason).

Saturday night was Heaven!... That is when I got to hang out the most, and then the Southern Saddle Dance took place, and it was amazing. Had a very short but very intense Ecstatic experience on the dance floor, and I was not the only one. Then there so much crazy ensued for the rest of the night. I love 15 year old scotch, just saying.

Sunday was a bit more calm, no hangover, but a bit worn out. I did sit at my table, and talk with passer-byes, and potential commissioners, but I had taken all I could handle, and much that will keep me busy for a while. I have so much art to do. Did not party Sunday night, but I did continue to hang with the Herd. Then a friend (who had the other Ecstatic experience) came down from the Emotional high, and suffered “Pre-Post Con Depression” and he thought I was the best person to come to for Council on the matter. I was flattered and honored, and cut my Herd time short to talk him through his intense emotions. It was also his first Furry Con, so the experience was doubly over whelming for him.

Monday came and I REALLY didn't want to leave, but my ride wanted to hit the road early, and with bitter farewells I departed.

Now I am at home trying to clean, unpack, and get my studio in shape for the on slot of work I must do. Trying to stay busy and not let the PCD creep in.

Enjoy

P.S: While I want to to get to Fang Con, and MFF I have no transportation to said Cons (My ride dumped me for MFF), in spite of the fact I have places to sleep. I need to work that out. I would like to go to Nightmare Nights in Dallas, but other then Anime Cat I know no one that is going to that, so not only do I not have transport but I don't have a room either.
