As you can probably tell I had my name changed. Thank you really to the mod that helped me with this, I don't think they realize how truly grateful I am. Sure I could of went through the old spill of making a new account and gaining back the views/watches I currently have but this was so much easier.

Anyway onto "why the name change?"

First let's start with how I got my old nick name NoodleTown. It was back in 2008 (yes I've been using that handle EVERYWHERE for nearly a decade) from my boss at Game Stop. At the time it fit me, it was perfect and everything just rolled smoothly. There was no odd clashes with other people, restaurants or anything like that. I went by Noodle for a very very long time, built up an art rep and voice acting rep around it that even now I'm still terrified about the social damage changing my handle is going to cause.

What really pushed me to this point was the fact that now days so many people have "noodle" somewhere in their handle that often than not I was mistaken for someone else. If not in the handle they just go by "noodle" which is all well an good for them but not for me as an artist trying to make a name for myself. I've had friends and mutual's message me asking me if I was in a stream/game/ect when I've either never heard of the person streaming or the game in questions. Things just kept getting confusing. Then came some friends googling the name "NoodleTown" and its variants to try and find my art work or voice work. Well that's when I was informed that there is a place called the great ny noodle town and what they where seeing was nothing but food pictures and images of said restaurant.

As a voice actor and an artist your handle is your bread and butter, its what people know you by and what they look for in order to find you. So naturally seeing a bunch of food or other people that is not me was disheartening. Before all this I had thought seriously about the possibility of changing my handle just never thought it would be so soon, or I actually would. I wont lie when I spoke to some close friends and my boyfriend about this and specified I was committing social suicide because in reality that's what I'm doing. Nobody will know who this PumpkinTater person is and NoodleTown will simply cease to exist and confuse many on probably the voice acting and art front.

Did I have a choice?

Sure, I mean I could of stuck with NoodleTown and kept fighting a loosing battle against the popularity of a restaurant and the constant mistaking of me being someone else. Kept having to "prove" to people that I was the actual Noodle they where looking for and deal with the backlash of many thinking I was an impostor of myself. Not to mention the random skype adds thanks to a few voice works that happened to be +18 and ended with a few stalkers in love with the character I voice thus making an infatuation / obsession with me because of my voice. (Let me tell you, that was hella awkward at best.)

So I digress, I've started the process of becoming and fitting into this new handle of mine. I know to my close friends and myself it will take some getting use too but, I hope you will all join me on this new journey and keep supporting me as I draw and voice act.
