As some of you may have noticed, I streamed a minimum of 6 hours every day this week. I've wanted a real, solid work schedule for some time now, but never had an idea for how to make it work with my parents, illnesses, etc. But I realized that if I never try it, I'm never gonna find the answer.

So, over the next few weeks I'm going to be experimenting with different work schedules. This week I tried a full time schedule: 6 hours a day minimum, occasionally closer to 8 or 10. I enjoyed myself this week and managed to get through it fairly easily, but I'm not sure if I will be able to hold it up long term due to illness and art sporadically deciding not to cooperate. However, I am going to try this schedule again for another week or two, so I can see if I can adjust to it over time, and to see if it's any easier when Shark Week isn't being a dick lol. If I can't continue with that schedule, I'll either switch to three days a week, or simply do shorter streams on Tuesday and Thursday.

Regardless of my weekly schedule, I will be taking weekends off from ALL WORK. This includes both streams and commissions. I may occasionally do a little commission work or a casual stream on Saturdays, but this will be guilt-free, no pressure, and on my own terms. The exception to this is that I will still answer emails, give quotes, and issue invoices on weekends. (It's also worth noting that streaming 6 - 10 hours per day means I will be slower to respond to emails than I have been in the past)

And finally, I've decided that it's in my best interest not to have any more than one stream partner at a time during the work week. This is for several reasons. Multistreams on Tigerdile have been giving viewers with slower connections/computers more trouble than usual as of late, and it seems that the more streams there are on a page, the bigger the problem it causes. There's also the issue of too many people trying to talk over each other and conversations moving too quickly, especially if one or more people are trying to take in-stream commissions. I may allow more than one partner on Saturday streams. My primary stream partner will be Keedot:, with the occasional replacement or solo stream.
