So, a rumour has been circulating that someone has been making the convention rounds and is poz, knows it, but is still exposing their sexual partners to the virus.

It is a crime.

If you are this person, stop it. your rocks are not more important than the lives of the people you have sex with and are risking.

If you know this person and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are knowingly exposing people to their virus, call the police (and have as much proof of it... testimonies of those he may have seroconverted, accounts of his shenanigans, anything that could be admissible in court.

Basically, if all you're hearing are rumours, that's a very, very serious crime you're hearing someone be accused of and this kind of thing can lead to them being placed on the sex-offenders registry depending on where they are and their sexual habits. That kind of thing can ruin a life... so, now is not the time to indulge in petty behavior.

BUT... and this is a BIG but... If you know FOR FACT that they are knowingly exposing people without the other person's knowledge (by law failing to disclose this information can put them in legal hot water given that most places consider it aggrivated sexual assault) then don't tell the furry grapevine, TELL THE POLICE.

and if they're doing the convention circuit, they're crossing state lines likely and as such, this could be an FBI thing and not just a state police thing.

whatever it is, do the right thing... don't do the "nice" thing because the "nice" thing can lead to some people catching the bug unknowingly and whomever this is, if these rumours are true, you are lower than low and you ought to be put in prison.
