I've had a strong urge to revive a dropped project recently. There's a long list of such things behind me that flopped out because of reasons mostly related to life getting in the way for a chosen conspirator. Some stories were comedic and others were just plain dark. Comedy is the aim in this case. The 'Looming Cuties' project I was working on in '08 is the one I'm looking at.

What I'm looking for is at least one writer, hopefully more, that would be interested in writing scripts for a preexisting setting, and helping it grow and develop one story at a time. I'd be acting as an artist and editor, helping to keep things canon in development and refine the script. Credit on each story would go to the writer as a primary writer. Looking mostly to just get things organized at this point. I don't even have a look for the art figured out at this stage, so writers joining on at this point might get to help that along too.

The setting for this project is a college and places students might go. The main characters are an odd couple pairing for roommates. A bubbly, saccharine sweet, club going, parapara fan girl of Amazonian proportions and an introverted, judgmental, grounded, metal aficionado that's just a little shorter than average and tends to slip into the background, mostly by choice. Nordic bred wolf that loves all things brightly colored and fluffy, and a white fleeced sheep that prefers dark and angry. Any other details I can provide to anyone showing enough interest.

Not looking for scripts or anything like that outright at this point, just interested parties that I can talk to to get them up to speed on the setting and what the aim of the project is. More development than production at this stage of things. Brainstorming, bouncing ideas and seeing how folks might work together.
