The Thought That Counts? by ilbv

I came across an old (years) video I filmed of some friends singing and it was from a really bad quality camera and the audio is distorted and just generally its the kind of thing that I really don't know why I made it.

I wanted to share it with the people who are in it, however I decided not to even bother because the video is pixled and distorted.

This made me think of all the times I've drawn something and been hesitant to show the person I drew it for or of.
I mean generally people are really happy and grateful, surprised and it makes them smile.

Is it really the thought that counts, or is it just taking up their time and things would have been better and fine if I hadn't even bothered?

I'm really hoping to get some opinions on this.

It depends on the reciever's opinion. They may see it as a waste or something great. It's never the fault of the artist on whether they think it's good or not.
