Yeah... I kind of hope there is some kind of mass exodus. Since well I can not express in words how angry dA have made me with this. I really honestly at this point think I hate dA! To ice this cake, the article is patronising as fuck! I feel their whole site is a complete joke. Like I am still not over the fact they stole their site logo from a Russian site and now this??

I think my favourite part is:

“Not every country has these laws or they have very weak ones. The U.S. has very weak protections but they do apply to artworks published in limited editions of 200 copies or less. France and Germany have the strongest protections.” Like dA you need to read about the Berne Convention… At this point they are calling it moral rights, rather then art theft too… Since well their opener is: “Art theft is stealing a painting from a wall.”

I mean I am so happy I have found this place. Everyone has been great and friendly and it feels more like home than dA has done for a long time. I can't remember the last time I felt really at home at dA, in the same way I used to. I really hope I can make more friends here and part of me does feel like this is the site I have been looking for to replace dA. The only sadness I feel is my friends on there. But dA is a sinking ship...

If it wasn't for them I think I would have given dA the middle finger awhile ago.

I hope this is my new home, the future for my art! I seriously feel I do not want to be on dA any more. I feel I have been drifting for a while but I feel this is kind of a big push.

      Same here, since honestly it is so much better all round. Like one of the only bad things is it is not that big. However the people you do talk to are really friendly.

      So hopefully after this people will move over. Like honestly I do really love someone of the features here. I do feel if I can make more friends this site could feel like home for my art.

        I'd put my estimate of people I've recommended to come here at abouuuuuut 20-25 now :'D ALL HAIL THE ART WEASYL, FOR IT IS CLEARLY SUPERIOR TO THE SHIT THAT IS DEVIANTART.

          I have actually have 3 people directly tell me they now have accounts here. However I am not sure how many people I have suggested this site too. One person is super excited about the character section and the linked forum with an RP section. Which is awesome.

          I do actually think this site is better, the only thing it is lacking is a bigger community, but well I think that is going to happen at this point now any way. This site has some nice features but it is not over the top with shit you don't need like dA is. I mean I have spent a lot of time on dA today. However it has been stripping my account right down.

          This morning I had close to 3,000 deviations. Now I have just over 200. I have also deleted most of my journals too. When I get time I am also going to leave all the groups I am just a member of. I haven't deleted them. I have just put them into storage because in the UK you only own copyright if you can prove from the date you owned it. So if a dispute comes up I can bring it out of storage.

          However I just don't have words to express my anger with them. I just don't.
