I figure I should give an update on my life! I've been meaning to write one, since there's a lot of peeps I haven't been able to catch up with. This is also a good way for me to reflect on where I am and where I'm going!

Job: Interning at a satellite tech firm full time has been pretty stressful. It's a fantastic opportunity (I get to build up a nest egg, it looks fantastic on a resume, adds to my portfolio, contacts in my industry, and so on) but I never feel like I have as much guidance as I would like to, considering that this is an internship; playing telephone with the head honcho of the marketing department is terrifying, especially since it resulted in me redoing a whole lot of datasheets. I only have 28 shifts left, and I like the people I work with, but office work has never been my strong suit. Good thing tech comm is such a versatile field! And in any case, I'm still a manager at the ice cream store; this internship will be a nice change of pace while it lasts.

Fetish: This past month has been a pony overload! My tack is officially complete (for the time being) and I've been able to wear it pretty frequently, even in public! Though somewhere in all this use, one of my hooves tore, so I'm trying to take care of that. At Colorado Springs Pride, I let this little girl try on my bridle, and it made her (and her parents') day; that moment will definitley be sticking with me. My family is now well aware of my participation in the lifestyle, but they are supportive as ever. I got my Dungeon Monitor training, and I volunteered to DM at Voodoo during the upcoming play party, which is the biggest of the month. I'm nervous, but the best way to learn is to practice! I'm getting much more involved in the BDSM community and lifestyle; I dreams really do come true! Cx

Creativity: Work has pretty much drained me, but I'm trying to get back into writing, starting with a couple of stories some of my fuzzy friends requested from me. I also ordered Demon: the Descent and Vampire: the Masquerade 20th Anniversary so that I can run intense story games with my inner circle and fast-and-loose games with anyone who's interested. I'm currently running a Torchbearer game, and though the mechanics have been very unfamiliar and clunky, the rich lore I have constructed more than makes up for it; quite the immersive venture, that! I'm also playing in a Planescape game that - while the DM is a masterful storyteller - the party composition is rather... off-putting. I hope we see some major character development soon, or I may end up being too uncomfortable to continue playing! @3@

Class: Summer classes are over now, and they went pretty well except for the last one: a humanities class that examined the act of walking as a relationship with one's environment. The professor is one of my favorites, and the content was intriguing, but the very dense and lofty assignments as well as the required hikes that took forever to navigate to and through made me lose motivation pretty fast. I hope I passed; even if I didn't, I still break even. :P

Home: My roommate is helping me build a desktop computer, which I sorely need; my 4yr stock Dell Inspiron is falling apart at the seams. Whenever I'm in the room, I'm either watching Japanese dramas with him (we just finished Liar's Game, which I highly recommend) or playing Terraria with the rest of our roommates. We have also gone through three crates of Monster, which I'm not sure how we did (much less how we got all that in the first place). We have a Chinese exchange student, and we often get into discussions comparing our cultures. Apparently American BBQ is the best thing ever, and I am inclined to agree!

THAT'S ME IN A NUTSHELL RIGHT NOW! Writing this has actually made me a lot less stressed, neighahah; it really puts everything in perspective.
