basically he grew up in poverty. for a while he had a crush on nova (and would secretly kill his significant others out of envy and rage). after a while, nova started to date him (not realizing it was him who killed his other lovers) but they had to secretly date bc if they openly dated a bunch of evil cat mafia goverment cats would execute both of them
