Yesterday I got back to work on "The Linen Butterfly" which involved among other things:
*Writing down a list of things I know need to be fixed.
*Adding the first scene of a new subplot that actually makes the story much better.
*Completely re-writing chapter 8 and completely changing a rather important detail in the story that I felt was too gimmicky.
*Starting a continuity check to harmonize my changes with the rest of the book.

I still have a lot of work to do, and more scenes to add, but I think I'll have a much better manuscript when this is done. In all I'm anticipating that the story will be about as long as the original version with the changes, expansions, and new subplots, though I've cut out a major subplot at the end that simply didn't work with the rest of the story.

I'm going for the end of July to have the manuscript ready, and I'm hoping to have everything ready by RainFurrest.
