It's...weird, the things you forget. I totally forgot being outgoing and jokey and writing about dumb and fun things in my life in art blog journals. SHUT UP, THAT'S WHAT I'M CALLING THESE, NOW.

I think I can manage to do these monthly. I'll try, anyway. I'll shoot for more frequently, but I can promise monthly. Heh, I'm sure no one else really cares, but I do. Plus, journaling's good and stuff. CLEARLY I NEED TO BE REMINDED OF THINGS I USED TO DO FAIRLY REGULARLY, SO MAYBE THIS WOULD BE GOOD.

Major life shit is I GRADUATED COLLEGE WITH A DEGREE IN ANIMATION! HUZZAH! I AM NOW OFFICIALLY AN ANIMATOR, I GOT A PIECE OF PAPER AND EVERYTHING! It sits by my bed. Oh, also I have some animations I made. YOU KNOW. AS AN ANIMATOR. Yup. Working on finding a job, but waaay slow going so far. -_- Disheartening, really, but I'll keep pluggin' along. It' kinda funny, my entire school tenure, I was terrified something would happen to make me have to take a grooming job again. Now, I've been feeling more power. I have a shiny piece of paper! I don't HAVE to do the worst job in the history of the universe! So there!

In the meantime, applications. Which I haven't done in a week. Whoops. Nyeh, but I did a whole four then! Ehh, yeah, that's not gonna cut it. I'll get on that tomorrow. Not tonight, cuz it's 2 AM. I'M AWESOME LIKE THAT.

In Art News...
i.e. The only part of this that really matters to anyone else, been working diligently on the next page of ABO--I decided to change my approach on this page a bit. Since my turn-around is atrocious, I figured I'd try to compensate and up the panel count. Next page will have 10 panels (where I usually would shoot for 3-5), and is designed to be more ambitious and cinematic. Well, aiming for that, anyway. Plus, new characters appear! I mean, old characters, cuz they're firmly established in the show, but, yanno, I'd never drawn them before. And really, that's the MOST IMPORTANT THING. Yup.

So, yeah. Page 29 of ABO's penciled, the first 8 panels have the characters inked with their flat colors, leaving panels 9 and 10 for inks and colors, inks and flats for backgrounds, and then shading and lighting and shit. I'm trying to track all this, so hopefully I'll be able to start putting together how long it takes me to do everything, so I can put together an actual update schedule. Ugh, I hate being so slow. The worst.

Anyway, other than that, I've been writing stuff, working on illustrations, and animating. KEEPIN' BUSY.
