I've been a member of both deviantArt and Fur Affinity for over 6 years now, and until recently, they were pretty much the only art websites I was on. However, after hearing about Weasyl for a while and the praise for it, I finally decided to set up an account here.

I know how Weasyl has perhaps experienced surges in new members during recent controversies surrounding FA, but since I didn't want to be seen as joining Weasyl out of protest, I thought I'd wait for a quieter time before doing so. Also, I don't intend to be less active on my other galleries now that I've joined Weasyl, but I am quite interested in the unique features this website has to offer.

Since I guess this is like a new start for me in a way, I also felt it'd be fitting to come up with a new furry name for myself instead of using my old name "Bruno Meles". A change of name is something I've been thinking about for some time now, and I just think "Bru Badger" seems more suitable for me.
