I don't know what else to do. It seems just as I'm about to catch up, something happens. It's a metaphor for my life currently. As it stands I need to pay rent. But I figure before I talk about that I'll just put it out there.

We've never been well-off. Growing up we've always had to "go without" at times. that's fine, whatever. Now that I'm an adult things seem to have gotten worse. At one point I was working two jobs every day of the week and I still was not able to make it on my own. Even still it baffles me how gawkers can stand around and tell I wasn't working hard enough. or if I worked harder I would've been fine. Let me point out what my life was like working two jobs.

Sunday-Work at the game/comic job open to close 12-7pm

Monday-Work retail job afternoon to close 4-10pm

Tuesday-Work retail job afternoon to close 4-10pm

Wednesday-Work Retail job in the morning, leave go to Game/comic job 5-9pm

Thursday-Work retail job afternoon to close 4-10pm

Friday-work Game/comic job open 10am to 5pm

Saturday-Work retail 12-close

that's not counting times I had to stay extra long was called in. I needed the money.

on average 51 hours a week yet here, in this state, I was not able to support myself. so I decided that most of what I earned went to helping the family pay bills/rent. When I wasn't working I was sleeping working both jobs as long as I did drained me. I wanted to earn more than I was getting but it just didn't have the strength to do so.

"So what happened with the rent?"
Well we got to this place hastily (some of you may remember). But we moved here under the idea of a temporary place so we could take time out to rebuild. But as you know ever since we got here it's been one thing after another, Roaches, Bedbugs, mice, flooding, car troubles, et cetera. So we never really got the chance to rebuild. but as it stands we need a place to live and this is a place to live. What happened with the rent is something i suspect is the bank's doing.

For awhile we been using overdraft protection, but recently every time a check is written it's no longer honored by the bank despite being well-within the bank's requirements for overdraft protection. When we went to them for a reason why this was happening they simply said,

"we don't know, your account's within our guidelines but for some reason, the system is returning everything. There's nothing we can do."

So whenever a check is written it gets returned and then the account gets charged a fee which dwindles the funds. In this instance the money was there, but then the medical bills came through and took a large portion of the money. so when the rent check was entered it got returned and the fees dwindled the money.

Now that this has happened a second time, we have to give them a money order for $760 (normal rent + a late fee) and we have 5 days to come up with that amount. otherwise, eviction.

I for one, would be glad to leave this rat hole but here's the issue with that, if we got evicted the new place we were looking at moving to won't accept our application. so for the next two months (remainder of the current lease) we have to stick it out.

So I'm going to attempt something drastic, I'm going to attempt to pay everything to deal with this apartment until the lease is up. That means the rent and the bills. In order to do that I need to be making at least $1500 a month, this will allow some breathing room in order to prepare for the new place. How I'm going to do this is explained below.

That said...I can do better and before we get into further details, I have something to say.

I'm sorry.

I have been horrible in the past. I have not been punctual and it has not been fair to you guys. I owe all my progress thus far to you all who have supported me. and I have not given as much as I should have. I have not met deadlines and I have procrastinated, hurting both you and myself in the process. Spending the last year in this horrible apartment has taught me that I am ultimately in control of my own destiny. As it stands, because I didn't realize this sooner and wallowed in my own sorrow, I've fallen behind on bills, work, gone broke and let myself go hungry. Whether I like it or not I brought this upon myself. I let the issues I've been dealing with overwhelm me. What I should've done was used it at motivation to work harder for improvement. As they say hindsight is always 20/20. Well They also say, "Better late, than never." And I choose now to work to improve. Nothing is stopping me but me. I love to draw and it's about time I start acting it. I need to do better. I want to do better. I can do better.

I only hope now that you will forgive me and give me a second chance to show I am the real deal.

But as it stands, these are just words. So let me do so actions.

But how will you improve Neme?

The best thing I can do is structure myself so I don't overwork and burn out, while simultaneously forgiving myself if I miss a mark and not beating myself up. Basically I'm working to balance myself out. So I will break up how I plan on improving.

Patreon- For my Patrons I will go back to doing the private streams. I will also start moving towards comics (more on this later) and for you who are in the two commission tiers. I will start contacting you personally through your Patreon page and/or your email to make sure you get what you paid for. That way you most definitely get what you paid for. Which brings me to the next section.

Emergency Commissions
I would like to point out the remaining commissions I have will be finished prior to my starting on the emergency commissions so there will be a slight delay given the circumstances.

Non-Emergency Commissions-This has been a huge blunder on my part as we all know. As I mentioned before this is due to the fact that I didn't have a plan of execution. Well now that I'm starting anew here's the official plan.
I plan on opening 5 commission spots each week(or every other week depending on the workload).
I plan on completing all 5 comms within the week they are paid for (or two weeks depending on my workload).
Depending on what type of comm it is, I will send development sketches and keep in contact to better insure top commission quality and satisfaction.
With these guidelines I hope to improve my work ethic, quality and ultimately my relations to you all.

Commission Prices
$20usd gets you a black and white sketch
$40usd gets you a flat colored image
$60usd gets you a full color image
$80usd gets you a fully colored image with background
These are all single character comms, if you would like to add additional characters each extra character with cost 10% of the original price (example: You order a $60 comm, each extra character will cost $6).

Special Commission Prices
Now I've gotten a few notes in the past asking for unusual commissions so I've compiled this list for those of you who are wondering.
Comic Page-$100usd (per page): It's pretty self explanatory.
4-image mini set -$200usd: Some people have wanted sequences with their characters. So I offer this option, essentially you will receive four(4) $60 commissions(a $240 value) at a discount. For the sake of time I'm only going to offer up to two characters for this option. The same 10% rule applies here.
Movie style Poster (up to 6 characters)- $300usd: Now This is where I pull out all the stops. for those that want this option I will of course do the composition you ask, but I will all also add text and even design you a logo for your content (if you so desire). You will receive a "textless" version and one with full text.
It should also be noted that the special commissions will take longer to complete so please allow me 3-weeks to a month to complete them.

Sets- Now onto the subject of sets. These are a huge portion of my income and due my previous issues I've let them slide. So like everything else they're getting an overhaul.
I will attempt to release a set every week.
There are 3 types of sets, Mini set (4 images), Standard set (6-8 images), and Big set (10-16 images)
Every month I will attempt to release at least one(1) Standard set, one(1) Big set, and two(2) mini sets.
Of course, this depends on my workload so naturally it's not set in stone.

Comics/Art books- And finally we're onto the last part. Now as it stands, I'm still working on my first art book and Room 351 and I plan on having the art book completed by the end of June (I will update on it's progress throughout the month and up until its release). Those of you who are Patrons will get to some of the work I'm putting into it. Now this is a bit of a tricky area, as printed media costs a lot of money (limited runs of a book cost around $1000). So it makes sense to go the anthology route. This is, to compile all the work done within two points and releasing the whole of it at once. For the art books they will either be released once a year or twice a year (depending on my income/savings) and for Room 351 it will be released in volumes. Talking of which, just what the hell is Room 351?

Room 351 is the story of a girl named Tawny, her friends, and their comings and goings as college students at Neo City University. Room 351 is a coming of age comedy that's aimed to help its readers to laugh, be happy, to grow, and generally feel good about themselves.
It should also be noted that I will be posting Room 351 on my DA, its DA Group page, FA, Weasyl and Tumblr pages. I hope that cleared up some confusion regarding it.
