Post BLFC Report

So, BLFC was an interesting con.

Pros:
-Great Staff
-Theme was executed so well, i was really having a good time!
-Arcade/Go karts/Mini golf, etc
-All the restaurants
-Elevators didn't break down and there were lots. (still slow but not as slow as it could have been!)
-Late Dances + Bar in the dance area
-Marketplace was open 24 hours which was neat!
-Having dinner with friends
-Impromptu set on sunday night
-Hanging with and akonite at their table when i could get away from mine. So much shenanigans!
-Thanks for the jello, ! :D
-Noms with , , , and co! (also visiting their tables. Miss you guys already!)
-Noms with and and Soulscape! <3 Mexican fooood!

-Hanging with dragonmanmike and Shadowgoddess. So funny how i see friends more often at cons then i do localy XD #Hermit
-Grand Cafe = 24 hours + all day breakfast!
-24 hour market place was really neat!
-THANK YOU TO ALL FRIENDS WHO DID FOOD RUNS. (we got skipped for DD food runs 2/3 days. So hungry D: and coffee/tea runs. lifesavers~)
-Meeting Spyn and co. Fun peeps :3
-Bumper cars with wolfblaze1, tomcat and co. (sorry, i cant remember your names D: A fellow Canadian from ON was there!!!! <3) and the airhockey. Canada Vs USA! Canada kicked ass XD
-Being table mates with Soulscape all weekend is always a blast!
-Seriously. The themeing. Holy shit. XD
-Got a Supernatural bracelet from a table near me. YAY!!!!
-Got a Cam setup from Flinters so hopefully once i get a new webcam i can start doing more traditional livestreams.
-Got some soap from Inkpawz! :D Cant wait to start using em!
-Drinks! DRINKS! DRAAAAAAANKS!!
-Guidebook was neat
-Cheap rooms
-The DD Fun area/Loyalty games were fun to be able to watch. Got to ride on one of the trikes before leaving on Sunday XD
-Got to see Tiesto with soulscape omi and lucaswolfox

Cons:
-Reg was really convoluted if you wanted to upgrade. so many lines and then going to other lines and blah blah.
-The allowed smoking really screwed up my breathing for the weekend.
-Elevators, while they didn't break down, were acting really odd and were a pain in the ass to get anywhere. (expected though.)
-The parade mixup. Closing down the DD early for the parade was enough of a miff considering none of the days were 8 hour days to begin with. No reason to be in the DD if you cant sell. So obviously people are going to leave weather dealers are allowed to stay or not
-Guidebook shouldn't have been the only way to preview the schedule before the con or before the at con schedules got printed. (and they were daily? You cant schedule where you want to be before hand if you cant see whats going on. A web schedule that doesn't require a login is a severely needed.)
-Didn't sleep well most of the con so i'm friggen exhausted
-Wierd splatter in our room on a lamp and the roof above it. took 3 days for hotel to come clean it. It was really gross and unnerving
-Dry Nevada air also impaired breathing for me.
-Dealers den layout wasn't efficient. People go from (outward)point to point and skip many of the hidden tables (hidden by the big suport beams) or those close to the walls get skipped. Rows seem to be more efficient business wise as people can walk in a line and see everyone instead of missing the inward point tables. Was a good try though and interesting for the architecture of the room.
-The Lex overbooked Tiesto and the night club was so packed that friends had to get security to help them get out because you literally couldn't move. I kept getting rammed and bowled over. Couldn't see shit for a lot of the time. Very limited seating so you couldn't even rest or sit down to enjoy a drink anywhere if need be. (sucks their pool renovation got dissalowed by the district and so they have this pool taking up huge amounts of space and you cant even use it XD ) 3hour wait to see tiesto an by then, after being battered and bruised, we got 3ish songs in and had to leave. Opening DJ was good but 3 hour wait was kind of ridiculous to see the main event.
-BLFC Badges were cool but extremely unhelpful in identifying anyone. People come to my table with just their BLFC badge and i cant see their names and they are literally 2 feet from me. Let alone if someone needed to report another attendee for whatever reason, you wouldn't be able to read their name even if it was right infront of you. D:

Over all though, had a good time. Loved the time i got to spend with friends. The attractions at the con hotel were nice. Home now with a smoke/dry air induced cough. But its nice to be home in my own bed. Skyping with my Leem. Though being back to the grind stone after a con that i barely made my expenses at is a bit worrisome but it happens! So organizing myself and my finances and i'll be back on the road shortly with patreon and com work~ The only other con i have this year is BronyCan, so i can get everything pumped out and hopefully open some regular commissions as well, outside patreon more often : )
