So after two months of aggressive treatments and four surgeries, it seems that Shirley's nasty abscess is going away! I feel her neck just about daily, looking for it, and it's getting harder and harder to find it! Thank god! Thank god for medicine! I could cry, I'm just so happy that this little girl is doing so much better. And thank the rat moms and dads that helped me out throughout this whole ordeal! Knock on wood here!! I'm so happy :')

She's been on .4ml of Amoxicillin and .1ml of Baytril for about 2 weeks now, and thank god it's just working so well! All my stubbornness, all my determination to get this baby well again is paying off, and she's doing so well now <3 I'm overfilled with joy :') Thank you to everyone that helped me out, whether it was supportive and kind words, sharing emergency comms journals of mine, or ordering commissions :') We appreciate it all so much... I'm so happy my little girl is doing so well now <3 I will NEVER give up on my babies, and Shirley being on the road to health again is just testament to my love for my babies and dogged determination to keep on pursuing whatever I can to heal and help <3
