Chapter 1 ONE LIFE ENDS AND ONE BEGINS
“We are here for this child. Her life was short and the mighty load took her from us. She is now in the heavens, looking down on us and smiling.” The preacher said on a rainy day at a funeral.
“They just say that to ease people’s feelings.” A girl said to her friend.
“We are here to give respect to this child and pray for she will rest in pees. She was loved by everyone and everyone loved her. She always lighten up a room on a stormy day.” The preacher said closing his book and saying, “You all can come up here and give your respects.” He finished as he left the room.
“I can’t believe she’s dead, she was only 16, Poor Carrie.” One girl said coming to the coffin.
“It’s all because of the stupid bomb threat.” Another girl said.
“But, it was real there was a sniper on the roof of the school.” A boy said coming to the girls.
“That sniper killed six hundred kids including Alexandra that day, and they’re still looking for the person.” The first girl said.
“Windy, It’s ok you don’t need to cry.” The boy said hugging the girl known as Windy.
“Their both in the big blue looking down at us right now.” A girl said.
“Helen, Everyone knows when you die it’s like going to a deep sleep for… ever.” The second girl that was at the coffin said.
“Magian, don’t say that.” The girl known as Helen said.
“Come on we need to get home before the rain comes down any further.” Windy said as they all left.
In the woods a mile from the nearest town there lived a pack of wolves and the Alpha female was expecting a litter of pups. One by one the pups were born. They was one pup that was a runt. As they grew the runt was discarded by her siblings, but she was adored by her father. One day when she was four months old her and her father went hunting. She spotted a hunter and her father told her to run. She did as she was told and ran, as she did she heard a gunshot echo through the forest. She looked back and saw her father lying on the ground. She ran to him, as she Looked at the hunter she snarled at him. He had a buck shot gun, so it took a long time to reload. She ran to the hunter and knocked the gun from his hands and sank her fangs into the neck of the hunter. She punctured a organ and killed him intently. She came to her father and gave her respects. She ran back to the den to see her siblings dead. She walked through the corpses of her sibling, the batas, and omegas. She walked further and found her mother laying on the ground with her neck snapped. She knew that she had to move on to survive. She walked further into the forest and then came upon a meadow where deer were eating the greens. She came fro the tree line and saw a black wolf with pure red eyes that glowed in the sun light. The Runt hunched down and watch the black wolf stock a deer. She saw her shoulder blades go up and down with every step she took. With one blink the black wolf was off and she was chasing the deer for a few minutes. She pounced onto the deer’s back and sank her fangs and claws into the deer bringing it to the ground. The runt saw the deer struggling to get free and the wolf bit down on the neck of the deer killing it. The runt inched closer and she saw four pups, two Batas, one Delta, and the rest were omegas, coming to the dead deer. The first to eat was the pups, then the Alpha, then the Betas and Deltas, then the rest. The runt inched closer as one of the Batas ran off. She was coming to the strange pack as the Bata that left grabbed the scruff of her neck and took her to the Alpha.

CHAPTER 2 THE PACK
“Who are you!” The Alpha female said with a hint of a growl.
“I-I umm…” The runt was about to speak when the Alpha broke her off.
“Get out of my territory!” She shouted snapping her jaws at the runt. The Bata unleashed her and she ran. She came to the meadow and fell onto the grass as a bison came up to her.
“Get out you wolf!” The bison said stopping his hooves The runt stumbled to get to her feet and once again she ran. She ran to a clearing and flopped down on a pile of leaves.
Roar A black bear growled at the wolf and she stumbled to her feet.
“Go a head, do what you want.” The wolf said.
“You're not from here are you?” The bear asked.
“How could you tell?” The wolf said.
“If you were from here the wolf pack would been here.” The bear said.
“I’m from the Southern wolf pack. A hunter killed my pack so I moved on.” The wolf said laying on the ground.
“I Thought I heard a bear.” A coywolf said coming from a bush.
“Remember who you're talking about you coywolf.” The bear said.
“My name is Jake.” The coywolf said giving a bow.
“Yes, and I’m Tara.” The bear said.
“What about you?” Jake asked.
“I don’t know.” The wolf said.
“What, didn’t your parents give you a name?” Tara said.
“No, they just called me runt.” The wolf said.
“How about Carrie?” Jake asked.
“Ok, anything is better than runt.” Carrie said.
“Come on you all must be hungry. I know a great spot to get deer.” Tara said as the two followed her.
They came to a meadow that had a herd of deer grazing on the grass. Tara, Jake, and Carrie hunched down inching to the herd. Tara was the first to strike a deer, then Carrie, and then Jake. They all caught a deer and feasted on it as the other deers watched from the forest.
That night The new friends fell asleep and Carrie had a old memory flow in.
“Hey Carrie.” A boy said
“Oh, hey Jakob.” The girl known as Carrie said hugging the boy.
“Lets get to class.” Jakob said as they left and everything went back to normal.
“What was that vision?” Carried thought to herself as she was waking up. Carrie had a feeling deep in her telling her to go to the school in the nearest town. She got up and went to the road and followed the road to the school. She came to the school and seen kids coming from two doors and Carrie ran to the group of kids and saw a familiar face. She ran to the girl and the girl patted Carrie on the head as one of the teachers came from the school and shooed Carrie away from the students. Carrie went to the woods in the back of the school and the student that seen her called her Ghost, for she roamed the school like a ghost and she sometime came up to them and they all patted her on the head. One day Carrie found a picture that was dropped from one of the kids and she looked at it and a vision came to her mind.
“Come on Carrie. Lets go to class before we’re late.” The same boy from before said taking the girls hand and they ran to their class. They went to their seats and Carrie got out her notebook to take notes.
“Carrie, you have a pin?” The boy asked.
“Here Jakob.” A girl said handing him a pin.
“Thanks, um?” Jakob said with a pols to what the girls name was.
“It’s Magian.” She said as teacher started the notes.
The vision faded as a teacher yelled at Carrie. She ran to the woods and met up with her new friends.
“Were did you run off to?” Tara asked coming up to her with Jake following from behind with deer.
“Dig in.” He said as they all ate. when Carrie swallowed her food she spoke.
“I was at the school. I had a feeling inside tell me to go.” She said as she smelled the Northern Wolf Pack coming near. Tara growled as she saw the Alpha coming closer. Jake graded the deer and the Betas growled at him.
“Give us the deer!” Shouted the wolves as the Alpha came into view with Carrie and she came to the others.
“This is our kill and you have no right taking it from us!” She shouted with a growl and the Alpha came to her.
“Who do you think you are!” The Alpha said growling.
“Who the hell do you think I am. I’m Carrie Dodge daughter of the Southern Wolf Pack Chief!” She Shouted proud and strong. As she finished a memory flowed in and she was sucked into it.
“Carrie this is Alexandra, you to have a bunch of stuff in common.” A boy said leaving the two.
“Hi, I’m Carrie Dodge.” She said holding her hand out to the girl.
“I’m Alexandra Hunters, I’m known as an Alpha to most.” She said shaking Carrie’s hand.
“Everyone calls me Wild Child.” Carrie said smiling. They left the vision and Carrie found herself in front of the Alpha. As they both watched each other. The other watched in surprise that the Alpha didn’t attack Carrie. The Alpha and Carrie stared at each other and they slowly collapsed. The wolf pack watched their Alpha fall next to Carrie. Tara and Jake saw Carrie fall onto the Alpha’s back. They all watched and it seemed that they were long lost friend that just found each other.

CHAPTER 3 THE STORM
As they woke the Alpha felt a heavy weight on her back and jumped up making Carrie fall to the ground hitting her head. Tara came to them and kept Carrie safe as the Alpha snarled and then left to her pack. A memory flowed into Carrie's mind as she slept.
“Carrie, get up!” A man said shaking Carrie.
“Huh,” She mond as she opened her eyes and saw her father.
“Come on there’s a tornado we need to go to the basement.” He said grabbing Carrie’s hand. They were in the basement and they heard the tornado coming closer and Carrie clinched her stuffed wolf. After the storm Carrie called her sister and asked if their mom was ok.
“Sorry, sis, She died from a board falling on her.” Carrie’s sister said as she hanged up on the phone. Carrie woke from her sleep and saw that she was back in a den that Tara had found a few days ago. As she woke she heard the sound of rain, she went to see and as she did she heard thunder hit and she went into the den curled up in a ball. As Jake came in from hunting.
“Carrie, what’s wrong?” he asked as he was followed by Tara.
“Ever since I was a pup I was afraid of thunder.” Carrie said as Jake came to her and gave her a peace of rabbit.
“Here eat up.” Jake said walking to his sleeping spot. Carrie ate the rabbit as Tara left the den and went off. Carrie finished the rabbit, as thunder hit again, followed by lightning. Carrie ran to the back of the den and curled up in a ball once again. She fell asleep, but was woken by an ear cracking thunder hit and a warm body against her. As her eyes gain focus of the scene she saw Jake laying next to her. she watched him sleep like one of the little pups in her father’s pack as she found herself falling asleep once again.
In the night Tara was searching for her mate as the wind picked up and lightning and thunder was getting worse, but she wouldn’t stop searching for her mate. She kept walking as lighting hit a tree as fire sparked and burned the tree and it fell. Tara ran as the tree fell and she came upon a den that was covered with fallen trees and rocks. She called for her mate as she did she heard him coming from the back of the den. She ran to the back to see him wounded, but save. They both headed to Tara’s den as they became lost. They curled up and fell asleep under a fallen tree. When morning came Carrie woke from the smell of honey suckers and the chirping of birds. Carrie stretched as Jake turned over. A old raven flew into the den and landed on a ledge.
“Are you Carrie?” The raven asked as Carrie stood up and came to the him.
“Yes, why?” She asked as she circled the raven with ease to attack.
“I’ve word of the dear Tara, the bear and mother of the forest is in danger from the harsh storm of last night.” He said watching Carrie circle him. He flew from the ledge to outside as Carrie followed pursuit. The old raven flew keeping his distends showing Carrie the way to Tara. Carrie smelled the alpha from before. The Alpha came from the bushes followed by three wolf pups.
“What do you want alpha, have you come to have my hide?” Carrie asked stopping in her tracks and watched the alpha closely.
“No, have you seen my Betas or Deltas?”She asked with a worried face.
“No, I looking for Tara, but if you go to our den you’ll find Jake there, but he’s still asleep. So when you get there just let the pups take over and he’ll let you all stay. I have to go.” Carrie said running after the raven. The raven came upon Tara who was sleeping and Carrie came to her and woke her up as another black bear came from the shrubs and came to Tara as Carrie stepped back as she felt the strange ora from him.
“Carrie this is my mate Pan.” Tara said coming to her mate and rubbing against his neck.
“You’re the strange bear Tara goes and sees at night when me and Jake falls asleep.
