Hello all! It feels like it's been a while since I submitted anything but custom work. Well. that's because I'm super busy stocking up on fuzzies for a packed summer full of events! First, though, let me say that my show at Kettle Creek was a wonderful success!! The opening reception was more than I ever could have hoped for, and I was so thrilled to have quite a few sales <3 My work was up all April long, but now my remaining work is back home safe and sound. Over the course of this month, I'll be adding some of my never-before-seen-online wall critters to my etsy shop, and here, too! I have quite a few insects and arachnids to share with you guys!
Anywho, the coming months are going to be pretty nuts! I'll be boothing at 5- possibly 6!- shows between now and July, teaching my very first felting class, and hopping on a few shows at local galleries whenever I can. So, we're looking at a pretty crazy summer, and I couldn't be happier!
Things are going well not only on the art front, but with home life too. I'm happy to say that tomorrow my partner and I are going down to the courthouse to apply for our marriage license. We plan on getting hitched on our 10 year anniversary on June 2nd. I could gush forever on how happy he makes me, and how absolutely thrilled I am, but I don't want to make anyone throw up haha.
