Should I upload more scenic photography? by Sparkyopteryx
Some years ago when I first made my online galleries I'd also occasionally upload some choice pieces of scenic photography, mainly taken during outings, camping trips and hikes. They're a bit amateurish since I don't have the proper set-up for really good photography, but they do have artistic merit and might even be helpful for art reference or inspiration.
I've got a lot of shots from last summer when I was in Alaska, and a handful of beautiful Nevada scenery that I took this last weekend when we went camping. Should I start posting more photography like this again? I'd even make a separate folder for it.

There are some gems in my piles and piles of photos, and I give any artist free rein to use them for inspiration and reference. I'll be submitting them in chunks over the course of the next week or so as to not flood everyones' inboxes too badly.

Oh, that is very kind of you! I will be on the look out for your photos in my feed then. And it is personally no problem for me at least to flood my inbox, the more stuff to look at, the better. :P

I would like to see more photography uploaded to the site in general. It's sad that it kinda gets overlooked too often

It really does. I'm going to go ahead and do it in small bits and pieces here and there. I may not be a professional photographer but perhaps some might garner some enjoyment out of my images regardless.

As a person who adores travelling, as well as experiencing the beauties of the world, of nature, of deep virgin woodland, the grand architectures by history preserved, I would highly encourage you to share such scenic photography with us. I would profoundly appreciate that even!
Not to mention that Alaska is one of the things I'd love to visit in the Americas if I would ever get to set foot there.

Indeed, and I personally think photography is sadly underrepresented around sites like this. I have quite a pile of them and even though I'm being choosy there is still a lot of images left, so I'll be uploading them in small batches.

Photography, being so ubiquitous, is overlooked sometimes. Personally I think it is the most democratic of the arts. By all means, post away.

Hmm, I personally don't mind such things, the more stuff being submitted, the better. :D Would be interesting to see those photos.
